Opening its doors 17 years ago, Montana Foods was originally a

small family operation. It has grown with an emphasis on

providing a personal service.

The initial response from the local market was extremely positive,

which encouraged Andrew Papas to continue manufacturing the

selection of high quality gourmet products under the Chef's

Delight brand.

Today, due to increased demand, Montana Foods has diversified

into manufacturing a much larger range of gourmet products

under three separate brands;

Each brand signifies a different product range adding to the

company's strength and versatility in the gourmet food industry.

Montana Foods reputation for quality and service are seen as the

key elements for which the company has grown consistently year

after year across Australia and around the world.

Montana Food's success has also been attributed to its focus of

using only the freshest natural local ingredients, hand picked and

delivered daily from farms across the country. All products are

made to order, which offers our customers the longest possible

shelf life.

The business is relocating to larger premises in order to keep up

with the ever-increasing demand. With constant requests for

even further varieties and extended lines, the new facilities offer

The Chefs Delight brand offers 11 varieties of innovative pestos and 8 original and traditional dips,along with 3 selections of tapenade's, all of which are available in both retail and food service sizedpackaging.

A selection of chilli sauces and a full range of antipasto products sourced from Australian farms arealso available under the Chef's Delight brand.

P r o f i l e

The founder of Montana Foods, Andrew Papas, has always

been very passionate about food & cooking. His love of food

started at a young age in his mother's kitchen, learning to

cook using fresh homegrown produce in traditional

Mediterranean recipes. Infusing those recipes with Australian

ingredients, he has created a range of unique and

innovative products that appeal to a worldwide audience.

The ever increasing domestic and international demand, has

created a need to out-source daily supply of only the freshest

herbs, spices and vegetables from local and interstate

farmers.

Being in daily contact with the growers, Andrew has

developed very close relationships, which offers him the

ability to receive certain ingredients even when they are not

available on the open market.

Over years of international travel through South East Asia,

experiencing new exotic flavours has been a passion for

Andrew and has led him to develop a range of sauces,

which capture the flavours of Asia. Today, he still travels

regularly and continues to find new inspiration for future

developments of the Montana Foods range.
