A season of gigs, events and workshops
Sept – Dec 2014
Hothouse favourites Moulettes return!
Hello!Speaking at the International Society of Music Education in Brazil in July, I was so proud to tell people about the work we do here in Morecambe; of the great shows that take place upstairs at The Hothouse, of the inspirational engagement projects that create new music and opportunities and of the dedicated and skilled staff who work throughout the year for More Music.
We are seen as an inspirational model of community music and in this brochure
you will see just a glimpse of that work with a short season of performances in
the building that starts our relationship with Bury Met and the ‘Smaller Rooms’
touring scheme. We are a charity that believes that culture can transform lives
and we work to support young people and adults who are often living in very
challenging circumstances. Come down to The Hothouse, make music, listen to
music, find the music in yourself!
