From the PrincipalMother of Providence Regional Catholic School has completed four full years and every year has seen growth in several ways!

• In our opening year, we averaged 210 students; in 2015-2016, we averaged 241 students. We are opening the 2016-2017 school year with 253 students. That’s an average growth of over eight percent!

• We have grown from an advisory board to a Board of Limited Jurisdiction. Our Board has 17 members who are using their areas of expertise to further the mission of our school.

• Our staff has grown to include an Advancement Director, additional aides, and faculty members to accommodate our growing student population. Our student to staff ratio continues to be about 10:1.

• Our 1:1 device program has grown from just iPads to Chromebooks in the middle school and iPads for grades one through five. We now have an iPad cart for Kindergarten and a second cart for PK3 and PK4.

• Our Annual Appeal has grown from about $35,000 to over $100,000 in four years and last year we raised over $250,000.

With all of this growth, we continue to live our mission of offering a quality, Catholic education at an affordable price. With your support, we can continue to challenge the mind, nurture the heart, and live the Gospel for all the children within our school community.

We are blessed to have such talented and committed individuals to serve on the Mother of Providence Board. Over the past year, the board has supported our principal, Ms. Therese Waters and our Advancement Director, Ms. Linda Rooney as they led the most successful annual campaign in school history. As a result, I am pleased to say that Mother of Providence School is for the first time operating on a balanced budget with a 10% increase in enrollment. Please take a minute to review this Annual Report, and to appreciate last year’s accomplishments. Once you do, I am sure that you will share in the board’s enthusiasm and optimism for the future of Mother of Providence Regional Catholic School.
