In this week’s class:In Literacy: We finished writing our autobiography assignment and handed them in. We also worked on our media presentations, which are due on Tuesday.

In Geography: We wrote a Geography quiz, learned about choropleth maps, played collaborative true/false and wrote our unit test.

In French: We finished working on our Selfie projects (both the written portion and the media presentations).

Coming attractions:In Literacy: We will present our Visual Autobiographies and will officially begin our Book Clubs. We will also do some drama games.

In Geography: We will begin our new unit, looking at how humans impact the environment.

In French: We will be presenting our Selfie projects all week.

Congratulations on your awesome work this week! We had a lot of projects wrapping up, as well as a Geography test. I’m proud of all the work that you completed. Remember that we will be presenting in both Literacy and French next week. This week, we self-assessed our Learning Skills and created SMART goals for ourselves. Learning Skills create the foundation that allow us to be successful in the rest of our education. Make sure to continue to work towards your goals!
