In April of 2010 at B.B. Comer High School auditorium, Talladega County Pageant Industry were hosting the Talladega County Pageants. There were ranged to about 15 girls in my division. Out of the 15 I was crowned Young Miss Talladega County. It was a moment I will never forget. Madisyn Vincent was the First runner up, also winning the division 3 talent winner. She is the one standing beside me in the blue and white dress. Alana Blocker was the second runner up standing beside Madisyn in the pink dress. Acacia Bradford was the third runner up located next to Alana in the white dress. I push forth to excel in everything I do because very many young girls look up to me.

This is my mom. Her name is Sharlene McNeel. Mama was born on December 6, 1974. Which makes her 36 years old. She is always there for me 100%. There isn’t a day that goes by that my mom doesn’t do something for me. My mom does what normal mothers do. Cooks, Cleans, and Works. My mom has been there for me longer than anyone. She was there for me from day one. I think my mother is beautiful in so many different ways. Not only outside, but inside too. I love my mom more than anyone on this planet.

My sisters name is Sierra Lynn McNeel. She is 14 going on 15. Her date of birth is February 10th, 1996. She is a freshman at Childersburg High school. Sierra and I fuss on a regular basis, but I would be no where without her. She doesn’t play any sports, but loves to talk on the phone. She would die without a phone. Sierra works at the law office during the summer to make money. Sierra is my only sibling and I am very thankful for her.

Micah and Austin are my life! Micah and Austin both have birthday’s in August. Micah is a 7th grader at CMS, and Austin is a 4th grader at Watwood Elementary. I call Micah and Austin my brothers because I am with them more than I am with my own sibling. They both keep me on my toes and my life definitely would be majorly boring without them. Micah is the talkative one. He’s more like me. He is a very good kid and student, though. Austin is also very talkative, but he’s very shy unlike Micah. Austin is the baby of the family and we spoil him rotton.

This is one of my bestfriends. Ryan Garrett. I have been going to school with him since Kindergarten. He plays Baseball, Basketball, and Football. He says that Baseball is more than a sport to him, it is life. Ryan helps me with all of my problems. I am very thankful I have blessed with a great best friend like Ryan! He has a very enthusiastic personality too. He is one of those people you’d have to meet to understand his type of personalitys.

This is Railey Breann Smelley. She has been my bestfriend since the day she was born. Which was July 22, 1998. Railey and I have been through everything. We spent every day and night together when we were younger. She moved to Woodstock, Georgia about 3 years ago. Railey is in the 7th grade. She also is a Basketball Cheerleader. She has an outgoing personality and it’s great. She ‘s always here for me, even if she does live 2 hours away. She has a beautiful soul and I’m proud to call her my bestfriend.

Catherine Mehalie Smith is byfar the greatest bestfriend I have ever had. I can tell her anything and everything. She has been there for me from day one and I still haven’t lost trust in her. Of course we fuss all the time, but you know what they say, when you stop fighting is when you stop loving, you fight for what you love! I sure do love Catherine too. Her D.O.B is September 29, 1996 which makes her 14 years old in the 8th grade at CMS. Catherine has a ghetto perasonality, but that is one of the very many reasons why I love her to death. She also cheers with me on our Cheerleading squad at school. Catherine is amazing and I am grateful she is in my life.

This is Childersburg JV Cheerleaders with Munford JV cheerleaders. This is when our JV Football team defeated Munford. We have very good sportsmanship on our cheerleading squad. We also believe that we shouldn’t settle for ANYTHING less than our best. I think everyone on our cheerleading squad puts forth 110%. I am very lucky to have these girls on a cheer squad with me.

This is a picture of me and my girls cheering at a basketball game. As you can see we all put forth our best effort. I look at these girls not only as teammates, but family. We all fuss at practice, but also help each other when needed. Everyone of them have a special place in my heart.

This is Childersburg JV cheerleaders and Fayetteville's JV cheerleaders cheering at our JV Basketball game. Once again, we do have very good sportsmanship. I love making new friends with other cheerleaders from different schools. Most of the time we have a lot in common. I love to Cheer!

Photography is a strong passion that I have. I love doing it for fun. One day I hope to take this passion to the next level and go professional. Taking pictures relaxes me. I love taking ‘capture the moment’ pictures. Nature is one of the best also. My photography name would be called “captured in the moment photography”. Taking pictures of people is fun also, I love picking out themes. Taking pictures is amazing to me.

When I am grown and get ready to go to collage, I want to become a lawyer. I don’t want to move out of the state of Alabama. I have done research and The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa has the best Law School in the state of Alabama. I am not only going because I am a die hard bama fan, but for that reason also. I do plan to go for a 6 year collage and get my masters degree. I want to major in history. Being a lawyer is my life goal.

One day I hope to become more than just Young Miss Talladega County. I want to pursue my dreams and become Miss America. I think being beautiful on the outside shouldn’t be the only thing that counts. Also being beautiful on the inside is very important. There are very many young girls that have the dream of becoming Miss America. If I become Miss America, I can push these young ladies to hit there goals just like I did mine.
