preparing its 15th edition. The best ATP and WTA players from all around the world will gather

together in the arena from the 29th of April until

Petra Kvitova was the winner of the MUTUA

MADRID OPEN for the second time, repeating

her victory of 2011. With this achievement,

she equaled Serena Williams record with two

trophies in Madrid.

Andy Murray is the third player, after the Swiss

Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, who was able to

win in both venues of the MUTUA MADRID OPEN,

2008 in the Casa de Campo and 2015

in the Caja Mágica.

The Caja Magica is one of the most modern and

innovative tennis installations in the world.

The site hosts the Mutua Madrid Open since 2009.

The Caja Magica has three stadiums with

retractable roofs and 10 outdoor clay courts

in the Tennis Garden.

The Centre Court (Manolo Santana Stadium)

has a capacity of 12.500 people.

The Stadium 2 (Arantxa Sanchez Vicario Stadium)

hosts 3.500 spectators while the Stadium 3

has a 2.500 seat capacity.
