Presentation Day Our Annual Presentation Day was held last Wednesday, with many families and friends turning up to celebrate student success. I would like to congratulate all our students who received an award. It makes all the hard work worthwhile. 2017 Leadership Team Our 2017 leadership team is as follows: Captains: Darnellio Afungia and Phoebe Romeo. Prefects: Mia Buchanan, Lilly Clancy, Lara Eldridge, Campbell Lyons, Olivia Light and Archie Mahy. House Captains: Louis Deen, Adam Irons, Jaspar Beaumont, Jahrel Tereva, Jakeem Morgan and Corinya Lyons. Congratulations to these students. Student Reports Reports have been sent home. If you would like an interview with your teacher to discuss your child’s progress, please make an appointment. This is a time when you can have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s education answered. Even though there are no structured interviews scheduled for Semester 2 reports, please feel welcome to make an appointment if you feel it necessary.

Farewell I would like to wish all staff and students who are leaving our school all the very best for the future years ahead. I would also like to say farewell and show my appreciation for all of the support I have received over the past 18 months. I will be commencing at Finley Public School next year, leaving this school with some fantastic memories. Thank you again. Finally, please be aware that our K-6 Assembly this week will start at 2:30pm. As this is our last assembly for the term, we would like to say our final farewells to our Year 6 cohort. PBL News STAR students and their parents enjoyed a relaxing evening last night as a celebration of their contribution to their school and community. We enjoyed a BBQ and games and then had a trip (a very noisy one) on the Lions Train to see the Christmas lights around town. Thank you to Mrs Hugo for organising this evening for everyone.
