    On December 1 Natakhtarilaunched a new advertis-

    ing campaign So What There Is Winter. The cam-

    paign about how to spend cold winter days with Beer

    Natakhtari, implied making TV ads and airing them on

    television, placing billboards and banners in the streets

    of the city and conducting other events. Slogan of the

    advertising campaign was: We are Together That is

    What Matters, So What There Is Winter.

    It should be mentioned that lyrics for this ad were

    specially written by outstanding Georgian actor and

    poet Niko Gomelauri.

    SO WHAT THERE IS WINTER

    ICE FESTIVAL IN BAKURIANI

    From January 6 to January 14, in the frames of the campaign So

    What There Is Winter, ice festival was organized in Bakuriani.

    Festival territory as well as entertainment playground and tents

    were arranged in an ice town. NatakhtariBus was driving in the

    streets of Bakuriani, companys corporate melodies were being

    played as well as soundtracks from various promotion videos of

    the company. Sculptors have made ice sculpture of BeerNatakh-

    taribottle. On January 14 the ice festival was closed with the con-

    cert of various folk groups.

    Presentation ofNatakhtari Extra

    On January 29 Company Natakhtaripresented a new brand

    Natakhtari Extra. Mini presentation ofNatakhtari Extra took

    place in Bakuriani. Various sport competitions and games

    were held: wrestling, horse race, snow bicycle (Buran) race

    and etc. Finally, competition in beer drinking was organized.These events in Bakuriani ended on January 31 with hand-

    ing awards to participants. Winners received special diplo-

    mas from Natakhtari.

    Stinginess of colors in winter I like,

    I love the fir-tree, the fire-place, this warmth,

    Those who always ask for the gifts,

    NATAKHTARI HAS BOTTLEDZERO CALORIE LEMONADE

    At the beginning of February new product of

    Company Natakhtariappeared on the market,

    namely, a zero calorie lemonade. It is a com-

    pletely new product for the Georgian market.

    Now diet food consumers will enjoy delicious

    taste of sugarfree Pear Lemonade.

    NATAKHTARI SEMINAR

    FOR BARTENDERS

    On March 3 Company Natakhtaridelivered training for bartenders.70 bartender selected from the best clubs and restaurants of Tbili-

    si took part in a Natakhtari seminar. The seminar was hosted by

    Ogul Turkan and main topics reviewed were: beer history, technol-

    ogies of the factory, bartender etiquette, cocktails made of beer

    and etc.

    Seminar was interesting for the audience and many questions were

    raised. Finally, one of the best bartender prepared some very pop-

    ular cocktails with the use of Efes Beer. Cocktail recipes were giv-

    en to seminar participants as a gift. In addition, Company Natakh-

    tariawarded bartender with memorable presents and prizes.

    NATAKHTARI EXTRA

    DEGUSTATION IN GUDAURICompany Natakhtariorganized degustation of its new brand

    Natakhtari Extra in ski resort Gudauri on February 20 21.

    Advertisers were distributing Natakhtari fliers inviting holiday

    makers to the degustation of a new beer. Various games and

    sport competitions accompanied the event. New product of

    Company Natakhtarireceived praise from beer fans.

    GOLDEN BRAND 2009

    The fifth annual award of Golden Brand was

    held in Radisson Blue Iveria Hotel on March 9,

    2010. At the ceremony the best Georgian and in-

    ternational companies and brands were an-

    nounced. Company Natakhtariwas awarded Gold-en Brand simultaneously in two nominations: Soft

    Drink Remarkable Brand to NatakhtariLemon-

    ade and Most Favorite Beer to NatakhtariBeer.

    Golden Brand is not only award, but it also rep-

    resents certification and recognition ofNatakhtari

    as the best brand. Award designated forNatakh-

    tari Company was handed over to Tornike Ni-

    kolaishvili, Marketing Manager.

    HOW WE CELEBRATE NY

    Efes Georgia Natakhtari Brewery cor-porate party took place on January 9 at

    Restaurant Monopol. New Years cele-

    bration turned out to be full of surpris-

    es. Georgian folk dances, belly dancing

    and Latin dances by Maestro Morris

    were presented to Natakhtari employ-

    ees. However, biggest excitement was

    brought by the drawing of the presents.

    Many lucky employees won different

    electronic equipment. Overall, party was

    full of fun.

    NATAKHTARI BE ER SALES

    This Graph shows comparison of 2009-2010, three month (Janu-

    ary, February, March), sales volume of beer Natakhtari . Percent-

    age describes actual sales vs. budgeted.

    This positive trend is result of campaign So What There Is Winter.

    Aim of this campaign was to smoother seasonality and increase

    beer sales in winter. Success of the campaign is illustrated by the

    figures on the Graph.

    The major goals of Natakhtari

    Kasris Rugby Fan Club are to

    assist rugby development in

    Georgia and to promote

    healthy lifestyle among Geor-

    gian population. Fan Club was

    established on February 13,

    2010 at the match of Georgian

    Rugby National Team against

    Portugal. The fan club was sup-

    ported by Georgian Rugby

    Union and its board members

    are: representatives of Natakh-

    tari, Rugby Union, Live Agen-

    cy, BetterFly and GEPRA.

    zon on March 20. Compet-

    ing with Russian peers is al-

    ways challenging for Geor-

    gian rugby players, therefore

    the Georgian team and fans

    underwent special prepara-

    tions. Fans delighted with

    deserved victory of Georgian

    players could not conceal

    their emotions.

    Efes Quality Circle Project serves to improvement of

    situation in every department.EQC Project started in

    Georgia from 2010. The EQC includes the following steps:

    - Evaluating status quo

    - Defining problematic issues

    - Working on problem solving measures

    Each department is represented by one or more teams

    working on this project. In August of this year the best team

    from our company will be selected in order to participate in

    an international competition.

    Rearrangement of the laboratory started from January of this year.
