It has been a challenging time for our staff and I would like to thank them for their work ensuring all platforms of learning have been the best they can be: face to face, learning at home online and learning at home off line. It has been wonderful seeing so many of our students back at school. If your child is continuing learning at home, it is important that they check in via seesaw or a phone call every day between 9-10 am. If we do not hear from you your child will be recorded as absent. We will continue to update you via School Stream. We understand it has been a challenging time for our families deciding whether to send children to school or to learn from home. To help this decision we would like to ensure you have all of the information about what we are doing here to keep our students, staff and community safe: 1. Our playgrounds are cleaned every day at 9 am. They are cleaned with disinfectant and wiped down. All classroom surfaces, door handles and toilets are cleaned twice a day. 2. Soap is in all toilet areas and students have clear routines around washing hands before and after going to the toilet, before and after eating and before and after play times. 3. All families are not entering classrooms and social distancing is adhered to by adults. Welcome This term we welcome Tyler Leeming to our team for the first 5 weeks. Tyler will be working in the Performing Arts Room. Tyler has already worked with many of our students in a relief role last term and we are looking forward to working with him again this term. Welcome Tyler. Dear Families,

We have had many near misses where our students’ lives have been put at risk. This is due to

families parking illegally near our school crossings on South, North and East Avenue.

This is extremely dangerous behaviour

and we want it to stop. School

Council members and staff are asking

families to please act responsibly and

follow parking rules at all times.

I have reported this behaviour to the

council and they will be conducting a

parking blitz in our area. Any illegal

parking will be issued with a fine.

For our children’s safety please do not

park illegally. Keep our children safe.
