PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Hello Everyone,
Our car show is over for this year, and it was a
success. Everyone was happy with the new
location, and Mary Jo is going to reserve it for
us for next year. At last month's meeting, we
decided to not make any major changes to the
car show format. Our total profit has been de-
clining each year, and the cost of putting on
the show has been increasing, so it was sug-
gested that we raise our prices next year, in
addition to a few other small changes.
Now is the time to join in with your friends and come to some club
tours. Check the schedule in this newsletter. Hope to see you soon.

NORTH HILLS HISTORIC AUTO CLUB MINUTES
June 9 2013
After the Pledge of Allegiance, President Jan Smith asked if there were any corrections or ad-
ditions to the Minutes of the May, 2013 meeting. There were none. Jennie Barker motioned to
accept the Minutes and Ken Barker seconded. In Jack Swaney’s absence Jan Smith only read
what was purported to be the Car Show monetary results. There was no need to accept that re-
port. Richard King was a guest at the meeting. New member, Victor Panza, was not present.
Old Business: Joe Sommerville thanked everyone who assisted him in making the car show a
success. Suzanne Acker thanked everyone who helped her as did Jennie Barker. A discussion
was held at great length as to changes for next year’s car show. Ken Barker will see what price
plaques would be instead of trophies for next year. Steve Illsley and Jennie Barker both re-
signed their committee positions.
Bill Artzberger will speak with his son to see if his son’s picnic grounds can be used for our
annual September picnic. This year’s picnic will be September 8th. Michael Quinn indicated
that we can take another 2 people on the Bayrenhof Museum tour and lunch at Grant’s Bar in
Millvale on July 6th. Jan Smith read a flyer about a mystery tour (80 miles, 5 stops) to be held
on August 24, 2013 in Northern Butler County. Fee is $25 per car and $5 for additional riders.
Jan and Bonnie Smith are working on a scavenger hunt scheduled for September 29th. Details
will follow. Steve Illsley indicated that the lunch tours are going well. Step up and organize
one. Michael Quinn indicated that the Grace Manor event will be June 22, 2013 from 1-3.
July 14, 2013 will be our next regular meeting. There being no further busi-
ness to discuss, Michael Quinn motioned to adjourn the meeting.
Respectfully submitted, Antoinette S. Quinn
for Bonnie Smith, Secretary

JUDGING SEMINAR Pat O’Neill shared these photos of a judging seminar he hosted in
preparation for the annual NHHAC car show. Bob Cirilli instructed
members on what to look for when judging the cars. It was a good
