[In exercise of the powers conferred by Central Government vide NotificationNo. S.O. 186(E) dated 19th January,2017 of the Ministry of Labour and Employmentthe undersigned hereby revise the rates of Variable Dearness Allowance for theemployees employed in Agrlculture w.e.f. 01.04.2019 on the basis of the averageConsumer Price Index for Industrial workers reaching 301.33 from 288.33 as on31.I2.2O18 (Base 2001-100) artd thereby resulting in an increase of 13 points. Therevised Variable Dearness Allowalce as under shall be payable from 01.04.2019:-

The classification ofworkers under different categories will be same as in Part-I of the notifrcation, whereas classification of cities will be same as in the Part-II oftlre notification dated 19th January, 2017.
