On June 14, the LocustGrove Senior Citizens, theirfamilies, and friends went toBranson for three days. Wehad a wonderful fun-filledtrip.

On the way there westopped at Lambert’s Caféin Springfield for lunch andto catch a few delicious hotrolls. Then off to Branson.

The first night we wentto see Moses at the Sight& Sound Theatre.

The next morning weRode the Ducks. In the af-ternoon we went to see theDixie Stampede and morefood. They sure make sureyou don’t go home hungry.

That evening we went tosee The Presley’s. What atalented family that was.

Lots of good music andthe comedians were hilari-ous. After that long day, wedecided to sleep in a littlebefore we started our lastday.

That morning we went toOld Branson for a littleshopping. Of course, we allhad to go in Dick’s 5 & 10.You can’t hardly walk outof there without buying alittle something that youcan’t live without.

From there on to theBranson Belle for more

Then back on the roadagain. Heading home. What a wonderful time wehad!

Many thanks to ourleader, Toni Turner. She setup the bus, the motel andall the shows for us. All wehad to do was show up andenjoy. Great job, Toni.

And we can’t forget ourbus driver, Sam and hislovely wife, Misty. In spiteof all the back seat drivers,Sam did a great job of get-ting us there and back inone piece. We look forwardto more trips in the future.
