Only DryJect Contractors give you this3 dimensional dynamic effectDryJect does two unique functions at once First as an aerator Most aeration equipmentpunches drills or slits some pull plugs Only DryJect aerates three dimensionally-side to sidefront to back and even connects hole to hole Theres no glazing of hole walls broken tineson buried rocks changing tines or depth concerns of cracking drainage or other buried linesIts a revolutionary concept using powered water - a patented Venturi process - to open thesoil for air water and amendments in high volume without disturbing the surface

Secondly its the only machine that can inject while aerating Following a water blastinto the turf it instantaneously injects a selection of flowable dry amendments - sand peatdiatomaceous earth calcine clay zeolites top dressing seed wetting agents insecticides orbiological products you select the mix For root zone modification DryJect can use about oneton of material per green

DryJect Service Center Contractors eliminate the traditional need for a crew to drag filland remove cores saving a tremendous amount of labor and time Some have calculatedsavings into six figures for a year Whats more DryJect allows you to start a soil modificationprogram even as part of your regular aeration

ue to heavy use theLincoln Street fields inLexington MA were in

disrepair despite the well intentionedcare of the maintenance staff Withthe towns expanding population andincreasing participation in recreationprograms the fields had reached astate beyond repair Countered withthe loss of other Town fields to schoolconstruction projects a large-scalerenovation project for this multipur-pose three-field complex became anecessity

One challenge the renovationteam faced was location of the fieldsBecause the project is located on thesite of a former capped landfill it wasnecessary to mitigate any potential set-tlement problems by carefully detail-ing the field profile and specifyingnon-traditional construction tech-niques This included special sitepreparation techniques featuring deepdynamic compaction and a combina-tion of static and vibratory rolling aswell as the inclusion of a specialheavy-duty woven geotextile base tomitigate subsurface settlement

The team of geotechnical andcivil engineers led by Geller Sportdetermined that infilled synthetic turfwould be the best option in order toalleviate the stresses placed on thefields due to foot traffic The newlyrenovated project with a price tag of$34 million includes a new andexpanded parking lot to accommo-date 232 cars a tot lot and picnicarea and a fitness and nature trailthrough adjacent meadows and wet-lands The existing topsoil of the origi-nal fields was stripped and reused tocreate spectator and planting moundsto screen the fields from neighboringresidential properties as well as to pre-vent unwanted vehicles from drivingon the synthetic turf ST
