Not surprisingly, Kabisig Workers Cooperative in its 7 years of existence now belongs to the biggest garment producers/exporters of quality garment. And PEZA registered since September 2018.

KABISIG WOKERS COOPERATIVE was established in January 2012. A licensed garment producer situated in an Export Processing Zone in Carmona Cavite, Philippines. The operation follows the concept of modular manufacturing system and the officers and members are very performance oriented group. The factories has 2 buildings with a total of 10,000 square meters.

The cooperative was established primarily to produce garment for export. Its target clientele are branded names like A&F (Abercrombie & Fitch) OLD NAVY, GAP, DISNEY, EXPRESS, HOLLOWAY, AUGUSTA Sportswear, AMAZON and the like.

Guided by focus in the pursuit of customer and employee excellence, Kabisig Workers Cooperative (KWC) will be

COMMON BOND The membership of KWC is occupational (professionals, garments skilled workers and non-skilled workers) and all,

shall be open to all natural persons who are Filipino Citizen, of legal age, with the capacity to contract and process all

the qualification and none of the disqualifications provided for in the By-laws.

PROCESS FLOW

PATTERN, SAMPLING & CUT APPROVAL

Pattern is made through computer aided design (CAD). CAD is more popular & easy. CAD is the use of computer technology for the design of object, real or virtual. Once the samples are approved, patterns are graded. The design is inputted into the marker software. This software specifies how to set the pattern in the actual fabric. By using the marker software, efficiently fabrics can be saved.

Garment samples are inevitably important and are developed, test-ed before starting the bulk production. It will all start with a “Tech Pack” from Merchant. Pattern will then be develop using the CAD. Fit Sample, PP Sample and Production Sample will follow. KWC Sample Makers are all multi-skilled sewers using a state of the art sewing machines, their ultimate goal is to process the garment with the simplest method without affecting the appearance. PP meeting is called to discuss the details of the garment.

Fabric Cutting is very important process for manufacturing the garments. We at Kabisig Workers Cooperative follow strict standard and control from spreading, precision cutting, numbering and bundling with our highly trained employees.

Latest Technology and Equipment has improved the quality of garments. Even Embroidery designs are made fine with advanced equipment. Some of which that we acquired are, Laser Cutting Machinefor Applique Die Cutting Machine, Embroidery Machines and Computers for Graphic Designs.

EMBROIDERY & PRINTING

Stitching process will start with product analysis and set up target for line. Here, usually, finds the critical operation of the garment and set line output target. Based on line or module target, layout, line balancing and setting up machine is done. Sewer stitch or sew different parts as per predetermined manner. According to machine layout both online QC & End line QC does exist as a control point. State of the art sewing machines are used.

Garment washing is normally done after stitching. The primary objectives of this is; to remove starch applied during milling, to soften the garments hand feel and improve bulkiness, remove dirt, spots, oil stain that accumulate during the processes, and to remove chemicals used during printing process and embroidery process.

Drying is done at a standard of 60 with a 1 hour running time. All these processes are monitored by our technicians.

FINAL AUDIT & QA

Final Inspection is the last step of inspection system. In this stage, complete garments are inspected by buyer. Different parts of garments are inspected here, like fabric, accessories, trims, fabric fault etc. Final inspection is important for an export order. Normally, they establish the number of units to be consigned with 1.5 AQL table. The number of units to be inspected are determined. They then randomly select sample quantity from across the size and color and check the sample lot for all quality performance standards.

SHIPMENT

Shipping is a part of (OM) Operations Management, wherein systematic design, direction & control of process that transform inputs into service and products for internal and external customers. Shipment procedure is required for ensuring customers satisfaction started from exporter door ended to importer door like documentation, operations, communication and negotiation. In this area, it is important that we pack goods correctly, labeled correctly and documented correctly.
