June 1-5 9:00-12:00 noon

1. Today we are asking all Sunday School teachers to remove any items on your walls

and store away things in your room that might get misplaced during VBS. Your

entire room will be decorated, so please remove YOUR classroom items THIS

morning. We attached a garbage bag to each SS roll if you need to store items.

Please write your room number on the bags and take them to rooms A206 and A207.

2. You can give money to VBS today at the end of the service, next Sunday, or you

may also deliver a donation to the church office at any time. Be sure & mark your

checks for VBS.

3. Come this afternoon at 4:00 p.m. and help set up the entire church for VBS.

Please meet in the SANCTUARY FIRST for prayer and jobs will be assigned.

There will be something for everyone to do as LOTS of items in the church have

to be moved! We will work from 4:00-6:30 p.m. (All children meet in the

Sanctuary first including Nursery until we see how many we have). Children will sing

with the music team until 4:45 p.m. and then move to the CLC for games with the

Recreation teams from 4:45-6:30 p.m.

4. NURSERY and TODDLER workers, MUSIC TEAM, and RECREATION TEAMS

need to be present tonight at 4:00 p.m. as you are responsible for the workers

children.

5. Today Bro. Ricky will commission the VBS workers during the morning service.

6. Pray daily for all VBS workers and about children making decisions for Christ!

7. For t-shirts see Barbara Leach or Faye Marton. ($8.00 to $9.00)

8. Preschool Recreation needs to borrow any riding toys that could be used

on the playground. Be sure & put your name on them and place in the gym.

9. Reminder: Even though VBS is promoted for ages 5 and up, we have a class for

all workers children and our regular 3 & 4 year olds that attend Sunday School.

10. If any teacher or worker will be absent during the week, please let Mrs. Joan

know as soon as possible.

11. SAVE FOR VBS: clean vegetable cans

12. We placed on the “wide end” of the walking track any decorations we did not

use on the stage. They are free to any VBS teacher to use in your room! Also the

office has 2 “Journey Off The Map” ink stamps if any one needs to borrow!

Thank you to everyone who came to help decorate the stage! The stage looks great

and we were served a delicious pizza lunch! Thanks to everyone!
