The station clock used by the SBB, the Swiss Federal Railways is a legendary piece of Swiss design. It tells the time at almost every station in Switzerland. In 1944, Hans Hilfiker, a Swiss Engineer and Designer and employee of the Federal Swiss Railways, created a clock, which has become known as the «Official Swiss Railways Clock». 1986 it made the leap from the station platform to the wrist.

Die Schweizerische Bahnhofsuhr der SBB ist ein legendäres Stück Schweizer Design. Sie zeigt in den Schweizer Bahnhöfen die Zeit an. 1944 schuf Hans Hilfiker, ein Schweizer Ingenieur als Mitarbeiter der Schweizer Bundesbahnen, eine Uhr die als «Offizielle Schweizer Bahnhofsuhr» welt bekannt wurde. Diese Uhr machte 1986 den Sprung auf das Handgelenk.

L’horloge des gares des Chemins de fer fédéraux CFF fait partie des icônes légendaires du design suisse. Elle indique l’heure dans presque toutes les gares du pays. The moment when the second hand stands still and then the minute hand jumps forward is something that people who have seen it will not soon forget. Mat brushed stainless steel case, anti reflective coated sapphire crystal, individual numbered case back. The crown, built as a switch element, allows an easy setting of the electronic controlled hands.
