Notes:
1. Dimension drawings of tap changer and type test reports shall be submitted for approval. 2. OLTC shall be suitable for bell mounting & VPD drying. 3. One No. oil surge relay type RS 2001 shall be included per pole. 4. Tie in resistors and / or Potential Switch, if required, shall be included and shall be mounted on a cylinder fitted
below the selector switch. Drawings and 3D model of the same shall be submitted with the offer. Total length of the tap changer after assembly of Tie-in-resistor and /or potential switch shall be clearly marked in the drawing.
5. Degree of protection for motor drive unit IP 55 as per IS 2147. 6. Overloading conditions cl. 2.3.2 of IEC 542 / IS 8478- As per IS 6600. 7. Provision for earthing at Tap changer head and motor drive unit. 8. Safety diaphragm for over pressure release in diverter switch. 9. Spark gap for protection against transient over voltages between diverter switch contacts. 10. Requirements in respect of earthing arrangements, pressure relief device, and oil surge relay as per Indian
Electricity rules are in-built in the standard design. 11. Motor drive unit motor shall operate at 85% of rated voltage. 12. OLTC to comply with IS 8468 amended up to date. 13. Phase diagram to be submitted along with the offer. 14. Shield cap shall be provided for each bolted connection. Extra shield caps shall be provided for connection on
bridge if applicable. 15. 3D Model of the selected model shall submitted with the offer if possible. 16. If parallel bridges are used, mark the outermost dimension of live contact in the drawing.
