3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time
“He called them, and immediately they left their boat and their father and followed Him.” Matthew 4:22
Just as Jesus called the first apostles, He calls each of us to follow Him, too. Not everyone is called to leave their business or family behind, but we are expected to put God first in everything. Everything from our time in daily prayer, our talent in participating in one of our parish ministries and our treasure to support the finan-cial needs of our parish mission.
Articles for the bulletin must be submitted to Kasia Sepesi no later than 12 PM on Tuesday to
[email protected] Thank You!

THE MYSTERY OF LOVE
Today’s readings tell us about our mission as baptized Catholics to make God’s presence and love known. Is there someone you know who is not baptized or who has been baptized into another Christian tradition, and would like to learn more about God’s love? Do you know someone who has questions about God, Jesus, or the Catholic Church? Our parish offers Inquiry session ex-ploring these and other faith issues.
Inquiry sessions do not assume a commitment to join the Catholic faith family. Inquiry sessions are opportunities to ask questions about God, Jesus, and the Catholic faith family. All who are not baptized, baptized into another faith denomination, or baptized Catholic but have not received Eucharist and Confirmation, are invited. To learn more about personally participating in the Catholic faith, please call the Parish Office at 908-647-1075 to be put in touch with a member of the RCIA team.

Have you married a Catholic?
Have you ever considered joining your spouse
in his/her faith?
On behalf of Fr. Sean and myself, I’d like to say thank you to the Parish Family of Our Lady of the Mount because it really is a family in the truest sense of the word.
I can’t begin to tell you how touched we were by the outpouring of prayers, Masses offered for Kerry, countless hugs and kisses shared, hands clasped in si-lent sympathy—all of this out of love.
That is what family is. When push comes to shove, family sticks together, even if, on occasion, (or if you’re Irish, many occasions) you don’t agree. But, love is the glue that binds, along with faith and hope.
We know Kerry arrived to a huge welcoming commit-tee: her grandparents, uncles, aunts, friends, and in the front row, her Dad and three brothers.
Thank you for being our other family. Fran and Fr. Sean
