As we finalize this issue, the Pakistan Hockey Team has won the

gold medal and once again is the Asian champion so

congratulations to all. The photographs from PHF have also

been received and uploaded on the facebook page as well as

the website.

Just a reminder that the Group is hosting a poetry/prose eve

this weekend as part of the Seniors Week so please join us.

Sir Yaar M Khan is presiding the evening with Nazar Khan as the

facilitator. Rizwan Muhammad, Arif Wattoo, Sahir Shafiq, Saad

Saleem, Hassan Gillani, Masood M Khan, Shahid Tirmizi, Prem

Mathur and hopefully Sarasa Krishnan will be the guests.

This event will also officially mark our first anniversary after

incorporation and possibly will be the last event of the year.Last please remember the lost lives that have been lost in the

aftermath of floods in Philippines and extend a helping hand to

organisations striving to help those who are left behind.

COMMUNITY UPDATES

ETHNIC COMMUNITY COUNCIL OF WA

In its last Annual General Meeting Dr. Zarrin Siddiqui has been elected as the President of the Council for a

period of two years 20132015. The council has also elected Rahim Ghauri as the Senior Vice President

and Fatima Khushnud as the member of the Management Committee.

Fatima also attended the media workshop arranged by Office of Multicultural Interests on Staurday the 9th

November.
