PantoneLIVE VisualizerQuick Start GuideIn order to start using PantoneLIVE Visualizer, you will need at least one active PantoneLIVE license and the PANTONE+ Coated Master library from Cloud Sync.

Cloud Sync1. PantoneLIVE Visualizer should not

be running while updating content from Cloud Sync!

2. Enter your My X-Rite User Name and Password, then click Login.

3. Select the Sync check box next to PANTONE+ Coated Master and then click the Synchronize button.

4. The Status column will show Synced once complete.

5. Additional libraries can be downloaded following these steps.

PantoneLIVE VisualizerActivatingThe fi rst time you launch PantoneLIVE Visualizer you will need to activate it using your My X-Rite Email Address and Password.

Loading LibrariesThere are three different ways libraries can be loaded.Public - Displays offi cial PantoneLIVE standard and dependent standard libraries.Private - Displays private brand owner libraries.Local - Open a CXF fi le from your computer.

Evaluation WindowThe Evaluation Window (accessed from the File menu) can be used to fi nd the closest standard, from a specifi ed dependent library or a brand owner library, to a selected standard.

Measuring StandardsStandards can also be measured using an X-Rite eXact by going to eXact > eXact Connection. Once connected, simply take a measurement from the public PantoneLIVE Visualizer window. The sample measured, along with the closest Pantone standards will be displayed.

ExportingThe following fi les can be exported from PantoneLIVE Visualizer.

Style Guide (PDF)

Fandeck (Simple) - Generates a fandeck page of your selected standards.

Lighting Condition Visualizer - Compare your selected standards under up to four additional lighting conditions. All selected lighting conditions will be compared to D50/2o.

Dependent Standard Visualizer (PDF) - Select up to 7 dependent standards to display for each of your standards. The dE of each standard will be displayed.

Adobe Swatch Exchange (ASE) - Export your selected standards to use in Adobe Illustrator.
