St. Ann’s – St. Patrick’s – Our Lady of the Rosary The Society of St. Vincent de Paul would like THANK our families from St. Ann’s, St. Patrick’s and Our Lady of the Rosary Parishes. All of our churches have joined together to make it possible for us to continue, again this year, to offer our services to needy people in our community. Over the past year we have answered 764 family calls for assistance which includes 1013 adults and 726 children. This Christmas we made good food hampers for 126 families and toys, treats, hats, mitts, scarves, and socks for 57 children. In August/September we gave back-to-school filled backpacks and running shoes to over 60 children . All these families were so grateful for your help! Thank you to everyone who donated gifts, food, cash, knitting, and your time! Special Thanks to our parishioners who drop a toonie or two (or more) every week into our baskets! It is so appreciated and keeps us going every day. On behalf of all our members and our clients, thank you so very much ! Wishing each of you a Very Blessed and Happy New Year .

In the Neighbourhood The Catholic Parent Involvement Committee (CPIC) of the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board, invites all parents to attend one of the upcoming "Supporting Our Children's Mental Health" information sessions. These sessions will be held at the following school locations: Thur., February 21-St. Joseph’s Catholic High School, Barrie Tues, February 26-Monsignor J.E. Ronan Catholic School, Beeton
Each session will run from 6:30–8:00 pm and will include child care, light refreshments and feature a presentation by Dr. Patrick Carney, Mental Health Lead and members of the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board Psychology Department. Parents are asked to register for a session and child care, indicating the age of the children (if applicable) by rsvp to [email protected].
