Dear friends in Christ, When we come to know Christ, we need to share in the life of our Lord God through our rela-tionship with Him, and to allow God to make us living vehicles of the Holy Spirit. We must live the life of Grace and not only share it with each other, but share it with those whom we encounter in our daily lives. Together we can all grow in our relationship with Christ and then continue to experience the Christian life together. Christians need to be and do what we are called by God to be and do, and continue living in His grace.

There are two key things that we can do to con-tinue living the Christian life. First, we must keep in contact with Christ and maintain our union with Him. Second, we must have contact with fel-low Christians with whom we can grow in union with Christ.

When we participate in a Cursillo weekend, whether as a candidate or as a team member we hear that piety is directing everything in our life to God, and that study is a constant nourishment

for our relationship with God. We can encounter Christ in the Sacraments for tangible contact with God; to this we add prayer as well as spiritual direc-tion and guidance. We need to share our Chris-tianity.

Christians need community to live a fully Christ-ian life. We need friends with whom we can share our life in Christ. We need to communicate Christ to others and share our love of Christ with others. We need a sacred and holy rela-tionship where we encourage, stimulate and help each other. We need to share together and continue to grow in our ideal-ism, dedication and love. We need to be part of an apos-tolic group. It's a way of rejoic-ing in the Lord and celebrating our love of God and our love of each other.

A message from our Rectora Hi, I am Cyndi Hopkins, and I am the Rectora for the upcoming Cursillo weekend #148, March 21-24, at Lasalette in Attleboro.

I live in Acton, and attend St. Anne’s in North Billerica where I am an Usher, a LEM and I am also involved with Rev. Lauren McLeavy in the Prison Ministry at the Billerica House of Correction where we go

once a month for Bible Study with the inmates. I am the Deanery Rep, and the Delegate to the Diocesan Convention.

We sing this song as a prayer to God to truly open our eyes and our hearts, that we can see Him, high and lift-ed up, Shining in the light of His Glory, pouring out His power and love as we sing Holy, Holy, Holy!! I am excited to say that we have an incredible team of men and women who have been meeting, sharing and praying about this weekend for about a year now. As you all know, last May’s weekend was cancelled due to the lack of candidates. This team decided to continue to reunion together approximately once a month since this cancellation. When the new weekend dates were decided on, almost the entire group has not hesitated to come back together as a team for this upcoming weekend. We have learned so much together about surrender, hope, trust, peace, love and joy, and we can’t wait to be able to bring this to all of your candidates in 2 weeks! Most would think that having a weekend be cancelled after all the preparation and excitement leading up to it would be devastating; and for a little while, it certainly was. However, we all decided that God had a plan, and we needed to surrender to His timing, and let his will be done, not ours. This decision turned out to be the most re-warding and incredibly bonding time. We met for Reunion Group together, we went to Living Stones in Leominster, and some of us went together to Worcester to see Bishop Curry speak at the Western Diocese Revival. We worshipped together, and many of us attended

Ultreyas around the area together. This time for me has been the most uplifting and Faith Centered journey of my life in a long time. It has allowed me to be more centered in my faith and has reminded me of who Christ is calling me to be. I have seen so much growth in each member of this team. The level of sharing and love is over-whelmingly beautiful. I share all of this with you because I believe that this team has been blessed in ways that we could never have imagined possible, because of the cancellation of the last weekend. We are ready to bring Christ to your candidates in a very loving and faith-filled weekend. As the weekend fast approaches, I believe that this team is being tested in many ways! We have had many members with medical is-sues, financial burdens, family issues, car troubles, and the list goes on. I ask that each of you take time to pray for us as we con-tinue to meet and share and prepare to bring all that God wants of us to your friends and family on this weekend! DeColores!
