TRANSCRIPT
The OutcomeI produced a collection of printed fabrics and wallpapers from repeat designs I created from my original
sketches. I also designed my own warp to suit my project which allowed me to create hand woven pieces which I then used as base fabrics for my
prints.
The OutcomeI produced 3 final pieces for this project. All 3 are very textural and act like a 3d collage. I used digital prints of my photography, as well as abstract monoprints I created to use as the backgrounds, which i then stitched into to add more depth.
The OutcomeThis collection was one of the first i created with a minimal colour palette.it was predominantly textile print based,
and i designed my own warp to replicate an open book which i then
printed onto to mimic my caddesigns.
The OutcomeThis project required us to design our own trend. i chose the electronicaccessories market, with a theme
based on the beauty of nature mixed with bright neon pops of colour.i took macro photographs which i then drew over to create textural drawings, that i then recreated inceramics, embroidery and laser
cutting.
The OutcomeThis project was inspired by an old family journal. i took the line ‘old
friends are best’ from ahandwritten poem by a 9 year old, and then used this motto to inspire a series of nostalgic illustrations
which i then translatedin to textile print.
The OutcomeI was inspired by my wildernessproject to carry on with the
animal theme. i had access to the print room so decided to make my peacock in to a screen as i thought it would translate well. this piece was created using the
monoprint technique.
The Outcomei played around with painting monoprints directly on to mygiraffe screen to see what i
could produce.for this piece i masked off
sections of the screen and painted aztec patterns. i wasn’t sure how it would turn out but i’m really
pleased with it.
puppiesthis is a new and ongoing project.
it is the first time i haveincorporated colour in to my original drawings, something
which i have enjoyed doing and i love the end result. i am hoping to
expand this range further andapply the same technique to more
illustrations.
