16 – 18 October 2014Sofitel Downtown Hotel, Dubai, UAE
Welcome Message
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
The 3rd Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery Conference (POSC 2014) will be held once again in Dubai from
16 – 18 October 2014. The concept of high quality instructional courses and seminars combined with free papers
sessions has attracted many Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgeons from the region in the past year.
This year’s conference will follow the same concept, creating an exceptional educational environment as well as
a platform for paper presentations and interactive sessions. In addition, the conference will be hosting a full day
course on DDH, organised by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. Main topics of the main conference this
year will be on Pediatric Spine on Day 1 and Foot and Ankle on Day 2. We have invited prominent international
and regional speakers and are supported by all major Pediatric Orthopaedic Societies, making this event the most
important meeting for Pediatric Orthopaedics in the Middle East.
I would like to welcome all Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons and interested physicians to participate by presenting
papers or attending the conference as a delegate. The conference this year will also host the inaugural meeting of
MEPOS, the Middle East Pediatric Orthopaedic Society to which I would like to encourage all Pediatric Orthopaedic
Surgeons to join as members.
Hoping for your active participation at POSC 2014.
Regards,
Dr. Marc F. Sinclair Conference Chairman
