• Study 2 - To validate the application algorithms developed to date in winter wheat using small plots. The validation will involve applying specific amounts of UAN at the start of elongation. The results will be compared to actual N rate studies for each crop adjacent to the plot studies where the algorithms are being tested in order to verify how well the algorithms were able to predict the best N rate possible using the N response curves from the adjacent plots as a measure of precision or accuracy.
