Attempt to break out front door glass window.

Witness was doing construction work (10:56pm) on the business adjacent to attacked business when he heard loud banging coming from the Nail Salon. He opened the door to look at the Nail Salon and he saw two black males get into a Black Ford Fusion and leave the scene. Front door glass was damaged. Entry wasn’t gained into the business. This was the second incident involving a Black Ford Fusion. (See incident below)

25000 Telegraph Rd. Commercial Nails & Spa)

Brick through side window of business.

Witness states he was next door to his store when he heard glass breaking. He went outside and observed an older model Black Ford Fusion driving away from the Nail Salon. Unknown occupants or how many. Vehicle was last seen traveling S/B on Telegraph Rd. It was later discovered that a side window to business was broken out with a brick and the cash register was gone through. Nothing was taken. There wasn’t any money in the cash register.

20000 Secluded Ln. Key was used. Victim advised he was away from his residence when he received notice at 11:28am that there was alarm activation at his residence. Victim returned home at 1:30pm and reviewed surveillance video from his residence. Victim observed at 11:28am his ex-girlfriend entering his house with a key. The ex-girlfriend was in the residence for a few minutes and then left. There was another female with his ex-girlfriend but she didn’t enter the residence. In addition to the video surveillance it was discovered that the ex-girlfriend also had a no contact order on file. (No contact with R/P) Officers also ran the license plate on a White Dodge Challenger that was parked in victim’s driveway. The plate came back as a stolen vehicle. Lein Info: The vehicle was taken in an RA, UDAA, the suspect could be armed and dangerous, the suspect fled from police. The suspect listed was the R/P (victim) who called the police originally to report Home Invasion. The stolen vehicle registered to the ex-girlfriend. The vehicle was confirmed stolen and the R/P in Home Invasion was arrested for R&C Stolen Vehicle. The Home Invasion is still under investigation.

23000 Sutton Dr. (Residential- Apartment Storage Locker)

Lock was removed.

Victim states that she last checked her Storage Locker sometime in July of 2015. Victim is moving and went down to her Storage Locker and noticed all her items inside her storage locker were gone. Items missing include appliances, furniture and two boxes of shoes. Note: There were several other items neatly stacked in victims Storage Locker that didn’t belong to her. Unknown who they belong to.

16000 W Nine Mile Rd. (Residential- Apartments)

It is believed that entry was made from the trash shute.

The alleged B&E occurred in the maintenance storage area attached to the trash shute & freight elevator room between the hours of 9:30pm and the following morning at 8:10am. It is believed that entry was made from the trash shute because the back door to the freight elevator is key access only from the common area. Once the suspect(s)entered the maintenance hall suspect(s) forced open the wood door to enter a second storage room containing air compressor & bradnailer. Suspect(s) then fled the area. Upon review of the surveillance video it was determined that a subject that has been advised for trespassing several times in the past was observed in the building. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

23000 Coach Light Dr. (Residential- Apartments)

Apartment door was kicked in.

Victim states she was holding 3 TV’s for a female friend until she could find a stable environment to move to. Victim also loaned her friend a Sprint Cell Phone. When victim’s friend came back to get her TV’s, victim asked for her cell phone back. When suspect stated she didn’t have it victim closed and locked her apartment door and told suspect to come back when she has her cell phone. Suspect then kicked victim’s apartment door in and entered her apartment with 3 other unknown girls. Victim was assaulted several times while the suspects searched for the TV’s. Victim was able to break free and call the Police. All Four suspects then fled the apartment without taking anything. Incident is under investigation.

Apartment Door was forced open.

Victim states sometime between 4:00pm- 11:00pm someone forced entry into her apartment by prying and removing screws from lower lock mechanism. Victim states a couple drawers were gone through but nothing appears to be missing. Victim changed her locks a couple months ago because her boyfriend broke into her apartment. Incident is under investigation.

18000 Midway Rd.

Attempt force on rear door.

Officers responded to alarm at residence. (11:23pm) Officers discovered attempt forced entry into residence at the rear door. Officers checked residence and it appeared that the residence was under renovation. There were several tools and construction equipment in the residence. Rear Door & Window were found open. >>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Officers responded to a House Check. A neighbor that was watching the residence reported a suspicious vehicle parked at the residence. Officers arrived and during a perimeter check of the residence a B/M wearing red sweats and a red sweatshirt fled from the residence. Officers ordered the suspect to stop several times but he continued to flee through the backyards toward 8 Mile Rd. Officers located and took the suspect into custody a short time later near Hollywood & Westhaven. Investigation revealed that the residence was vacant and it appeared that the suspect had been staying there. Personal property belonging to suspect was recovered from the residence.

25000 W Nine Mile Rd Front door was forced open.

Victim states sometime between 6:00pm and the following morning at 7:50am someone forced entry into the residence that is under renovation. Upon inspection of the home the front (north) door was pried open defeating the lock and deadbolt. Victim noticed immediately that several tools he had inside the residence were missing. Windows were also noticed missing. They were stacked inside and still in protective wrapping. There was a noticeable smell of natural gas coming from the basement. While inspecting the basement, the furnace was found to be missing and gas was leaking from the shut off valve! >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Citizens that smell gas coming from any residence or building should immediately call the Fire Department and Gas Company. Officers observed vehicle travelling W/B on 8 Mile Rd from Evergreen at a high rate of speed. (Estimated speed- 100 mph) Officers caught up to vehicle and stopped vehicle at 8 Mile Rd & Bridge St. (Paper plate in rear window) A LEIN check of the vehicles VIN showed the vehicle reported stolen 02/23/2016 out of Dearborn PD. Southfield Dispatch contacted Dearborn PD who confirmed the vehicle as stolen. Dearborn PD advised that according to their report the vehicle was fraudulently purchased from a Dealership in Dearborn using false identification. Officers recovered original paperwork for the sale of vehicle and the driver was in possession of original keys for vehicle. The driver was arrested for R&C Stolen Vehicle.

Victim advises sometime between 7:30pm and the following morning at 6:30am someone broke out drivers side rear window entered vehicle, accessed the trunk through the back seat, located Wheel Lock Key and then took All Four Wheels & Tires from victims 2016 Chrysler 300. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician processed the vehicle. The packaging for Wheel Lock Key was confiscated and submitted for Latent Analysis.

27000 Franklin Rd. (Residential- Apartments)

Victims Wig was taken from her.

Victim advises she was at Bar in the 24000 Block of 12 Mile Rd. with her ex-boyfriend, who she has been in an on and off dating relationship for the past seven years. Victim attempted to walk out of the bar to go home at which time her boyfriend grabbed her by her wig and pulled it off. Victim ran out of the bar as her boyfriend chased after her into the parking lot. Victim got into the vehicle (front driver's side seat) and locked the doors. Boyfriend unlocked the vehicle (unknown how) and got into the passenger side front seat. Boyfriend verbally ordered victim to drive to an Apartment Complex in the 27000 Block of Franklin Rd. in Southfield. On the way to apartments, boyfriend punched victim in the mouth, causing one of her teeth to break in half. When victim got to the Apartment Complex her boyfriend exited the vehicle, and fled in an unknown direction. The suspect has been identified and incident is under investigation.

(Apartments) All Four Wheels & Tires were taken from 2014 Chrysler 300.

Kidnap Adult/ Domestic A&B- 1- Arrest 03/14/2016 10:15pm 25000 Block of Evergreen Rd.

(Commercial- Donuts) Officers were dispatched to business on report of two subjects fighting. It was later learned that it was a boyfriend girlfriend dispute, the female was an employee at business and the boyfriend abducted girlfriend. There was also a second male that was with the boyfriend. Officers met with owner of business and reviewed surveillance video of incident. Information was developed as to the whereabouts of suspects. A short time later Officers located victim and the two male suspects at a residence in Detroit. Officers spoke to the victim and she confirmed that she was assaulted at the business in Southfield and her boyfriend picked her up and put her over his shoulder, forced her into his vehicle and drove her to the residence in Detroit. The boyfriend was arrested for Domestic A&B/ Kidnapping/ & False Imprisonment.

Aggravated Assault/ MDOP/ R&O- 1- Arrest 03/15/2016 9:40pm 25000 Block of Evergreen Rd.

(Commercial- Party Store) Officers were dispatched to business on report of disorderly subject inside the store. Officer arrived and observed victim (owner of store) on the floor struggling with suspect. (unknown male) Officer immediately separated victim from suspect and ordered suspect to place his hands behind his back. Suspect was combative, shouting out profanities, refused to place his hands behind his back and kept trying to get up from the floor. Officer held subject down and called for back-up. Suspect had a strong odor of intoxicants on his person, his speech was slurred and he continued to shout profanities and disrupt the business. Additional Officers arrived on scene and the suspect was eventually taken into custody. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician processed the scene and took photos of items that were damaged by suspect throughout the business.

CCW/ Possession of Prescription Drugs- 1- Arrest 03/17/2016 4:34pm Greenfield Rd. & W Nine Mile Rd. Officers conducted traffic stop at location. Upon approaching vehicle Officers could smell a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and they observed in plain view what appeared to be a Stun Gun on the driver’s side floorboard. The Stun Gun was confiscated as were two pills that the driver stated were Xenox. The pills were not in a marked prescription type bottle and the driver didn’t have a prescription for the pills. There were also two containers containing suspected marijuana and a suspected marijuana cigarette in-between the driver’s seat, and the center console that were also confiscated. Suspect was arrested for CCW & VCSA.

Possession of Cocaine and Methamphetamine/ Felony Warrant Arrest 2- Arrests 03/17/2016 7:45pm 27000 Block of Northwestern Hwy

(Hotel) Officers observed three males standing next to a black 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser that was parked on the north side of Hotel. After running the plate on vehicle it was learned that the registered owner of vehicle was wanted for the Felony Warrant out of Florida for PWID Cocaine. After verifying that one of the subjects standing next to the vehicle matched the physical description and age of suspect, Officers made contact with all three subjects. Officer made contact with subject that was identified as the subject with Felony Warrant out of Florida. During the contact with this subject Officer was able to view in plain view one small clear zip lock bag containing suspected Cocaine in his sweatshirt pocket. Suspect was advised and arrested for Possession of Cocaine and placed into the rear of patrol vehicle. A search incident to the arrest, Officer also recovered one additional small clear zip lock bag containing a white powdering substance (consistent with narcotics) in another of suspects pockets. Further investigation by Officers discovered that one of the other subjects had a Felony Warrant for Probation Violation for assault with a dangerous weapon. The Warrant was confirmed and this subject was also taken into custody. The third subject was released at the scene. A Southfield Police Evidence Technician Field Tested separately the suspected Cocaine and Methamphetamine. Both came back positive

for possible presence of Cocaine and Methamphetamine.

Domestic F/A & CCW- 1- Arrest 03/20/2016 4:54pm 16000 Block of North Park Dr. Witness (Security Person) stated he was sitting at the security desk when male & female pulled up in front of the complex. Witness stated they began to argue when the female jumped out of the car and told the male subject to get out of the car. The male subject jumped into the driver's seat and proceeded to drive off with the vehicle. The female subject then pulled out a handgun and fired once at the car when it was leaving the complex. After receiving this information from witness the female was asked if this was true and if she had a handgun. The female made admissions that she shot at the vehicle to get the males attention and she had the handgun concealed on her left hip. The handgun was recovered from female and she was taken into custody for F/A & CCW. The female suspect did not have a CPL to carry a firearm.

OWI- 1- Arrest Lahser & Coral Gables 11:44pm Officer stopped a vehicle that was travelling on Lahser Road without its headlights on after dark. It was determined that the driver had been consuming intoxicants and an OWI investigation was completed. The driver was then arrested for OWI and lodged.

OWI- 1- Arrest M-10/ Lahser Rd. 12:05am Officers were investigating a multi-car accident. During the investigation it was discovered that one of the drivers was highly intoxicated. This driver was arrested for OWI and lodged.

OWI- 1- Arrest 20000 Block of Kensington Ct. 10:08am Officers were dispatched to a vehicle that had just crashed into a building. Officers arrived and found the vehicle unoccupied resting against a building. Witnesses pointed out the subject who was driving. He was stopped and questioned. Further investigation revealed that the subject had been driving and crashed into the building after losing control of his vehicle. An OWI investigation was conducted it was determined that the driver was intoxicated. The driver was arrested for OWI.

OWI- 1- Arrest Northwestern & Lee Baker 2:50am Officer initiated a stop at the location for a traffic offense. Officer made contact with the operator of the vehicle and suspected that she was intoxicated. An OWI investigation was conducted and the subject was arrested for OWI and lodged.
