THURSDAY, APRIL 29

For the fourth consecutive year, theSociety has elected to partner with Dr.Neil Love and his education group,Research To Practice (RTP), to host theThursday evening industry-supportedsatellite symposium at the 11th AnnualMeeting. Once again Dr. Love and hisgroup have proposed an innovative andexciting concept that we believe willhelp create a truly beneficial andworthwhile event. After several years offocusing on the presentation of clinicaldata, Dr. Love and his team will take adifferent approach and concentrate onthe practical application of researchfindings in breast cancer managementand patient care.

To that end, the meeting will notinclude didactic presentations, butinstead will rely on the expert perspec-tives of clinical investigators comment-ing on actual patient cases presented

live by Society members. To obtain thecases that will be included in the event,RTP recently enlisted the assistance ofSociety members to provide real, chal-lenging cases from their own practicesfor presentation. At the meeting, selectSociety members, either in person orvia Skype™ video broadcast feed, willformally present their cases to the fac-ulty for treatment consultation and rec-ommendations. We believe the endresult will be an interesting, practical, and relevant educational opportunityfocused on the management of earlybreast cancer.

This symposium is sponsored by Research To

Practice and supported by Genentech, Inc.

and Genomic Health, Inc. This event is free

to all registered attendees. (This symposium
