Professional Christian Events Planning Course.

ABOUT EVENT PLANNING The demand of Professional Christian event planners and managers is very high as various Christian organizations now regularly host and organise a number of mini, medium & mega size events on several occasions throughout the year both locally, nationally and internationally.

Christian Event managers and planners can plan and conduct small events/banquets to large international events of any scope and size knowing no matter the size of the events, the planner[s] needs to have knowledge, sound skills and the ability to coordinate effectively.

PART ONE This course is divided into two parts beginning wit h the EVENTS module and concluding with the WEDDING PLANNING module. St udents may complete both parts in any order or sequence.

Within this course, we will take a serious look at a CHRISTIAN EVENTS planning! An overview of the duties and responsibilities of an event planner and a list of some of the basic Christian services that may be requested by clients.

Training Content: Using sound Bible based events/banquets, we will establish an overview of what takes places before, during and after an event, including venue management, security measures, team working, food/catering, ticketing, gate & crowd control, staffing, protocols, fire, health & safety precautions, contracts, problem solving, procurement, cash/payment control, banking, accountability, post event reporting, legal issues and much more.

Practical Element Participants in this course will be expected to find and become part of an ongoing event/project which they will participate in and use as their CASE STUDY. Candidates are expected to provide an overview/report of their progress within the project from beginning to end, incorporating the elements of their training and providing a full report of their work, experiences, failures, lessons and analysis.
