We are in th e midst of a sea of chan ge. We are

a lso fortuna tely in the process of reflection an d

meditat ion on ma ny t hings beyond just the re-

    fining of tea ching methods.

Some recurring questions that crop up in an irri tat ingly regular

wa y ar e Wha t is this al l about - Wha t a re we doing Are we

Designers , & if so wha t a re we designing I s it of an y use - Are

we t eachers - Am I of an y use - Wha t is it t ha t keeps us going

Do we n eed to do it - Would it be better if I did th is alone - Do Ineed to tell you about it Would it ma ke a difference How

should I sh a re my incredible discoveries/disillusionments

Is there an y wa y we can ma ke sure this last s! When will it

    en d . !!

The phenomenon of periodic uphea va l is not un common in t he

Creat ive field. Only th e extent & power of th e upheava l ma y

vary , with visible resulta nt effects ra nging from the mild topo-

graphical rearr an gement expected from the fierce burp of an

earth worm, t o continenta l cracks & compressions leading to

mounta ins, at mospheric ha ze or just disappeara nces!

Expansion, Divides! Space, New Creation! Visible. Invisible.

Splendid! So, upheavals a re needed for progress. Brea kdowns a re needed

    for true growt h.

And C ollaborat ive upheava ls ar e excellent for sta rting off inde-

pendent thought processes which, surprisingly, come right back

to contribute further to more effective collaboration and cre-

    at ion.

At the centre of it a ll is the belief born of affirma tions & rea liza-

tions gained in t he journey th rough the t unnel of doubt, disor-

der, disjunctions, discord, disintegrat ion, disi l lusionment .. ,determin at ion & fina lly Discovery - th e inevita ble an d des-

tined l ight a t t he end of the proverbial t unnel, however long.

    Discovery of a little more about self, a little more of the world;

Discovery of precious clarity, strength, and Belief, the very foun-

dations for real creation, of real contribution to existence.

Br ing on the Doubts an d Questions, disturb the smooth terra in

with furrows and explosions, create ripples & waves in the pool,

use th ese precious ingredient s for progress, d iscoveries, evolu-

tion, Meaning, creat ion.We dont ha ve to be Designers w hen w e could be CRE ATORS in

the grea ter scheme of things.

We just ha ve to learn t o be more awa re and S EE the G REATER

    SCHE ME a t a l l t imes. And see & Understand t he RESP ONSI-

BILITIES that go wi th creat ion!

Go out on to your roof one night. Look up and see where you are.

    Feel small?

Then look down a t t he thing you hold in the palm of your ha nd,

an d zoom into yourself from the sta rs a bove, see yourself magni-fied in the midst of the vast ness.

    St ill feel small?

Do you know w ho you are now? It s al l in your ha nds.

The affirma tion and the power.

Think l ike a Designer if you must . But dont forget You ar e

    a Creator . Loving .Limi t less . .Responsible .

We just have to learn to be more aware
