Banded by a common mission of bringing the arts to the community, a touring opera ensemble of

competent classically trained vocalists and instrumentalists is assembled. In order to bring concerts,

recitals and opera productions around the little red dot, the Singapore Pocket Opera Theatre, or SPOT,

as we intimately call it, is founded in 2016.

In short, our work is pocket-sized.

With our stage sets, lights, and unfettered creativity in our pockets, we want to

bring our craft of music making to unconventional spaces. We want to invite people

from all walks of life to immerse themselves in another world brought about by

great music. We seek to journey with our audience – to help them experience

reflections of themselves and find themselves in this highly inter-laced society.
