What is3Csystem?3Csystem, is THECommunication.Walking through the town, everyday you

3Csystem shows all available peoplearound you; their preferences, hobbiesand so on. 3Csystem also shows livechats that are running around you. Youcan listen open chats, see themes andparticipants names. You also can join aspecific chat, experiencing a groupdiscussion as a real meeting.

How it works?

3Csystem physical interface uses a transceiver with adata packet protocol in the ism band (2.45GHz, 5.8GHz).

Existing interfaces (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi...) could beadapted.

Chat flow is managed in each individual unit, that

performs as a chat server. Different incoming streams are evaluated and

connected according with their time and context tags.The result is a multiple user conversation as heard inthe earphone.

Chat is in real time, so you can have a goodconversation in the same way as a live body meeting.Participants and all people available to chat are shownin a list with an avatar icon each one.

3Csystem as a product

The product could be:

a cell phone with a little additional module on board a cell phone with a different programming of inside

transceiver and related logic modulesBoth solutions are improved with a 3Csystem graphic interface

and chat management.

Additional traffic created by 3Csystem systems is really newand increases business in two ways:a) as a side effect of 3Csystem, traditional phone traffic

increases.b) 3Csystem traffic itself could be charged a little or given free

in promotional offers 3Csystem+phone (i.e.).

The product creates an area of users linked together in a chatnet Network is independent from radio base stations and access

points: At least only another 3Csystem is required for theconnection.

3Csystem users can chat or exchange SMS,

without additional costs for telecommunication companies.

The users can link each others without an access to a mobilenetwork. 3Csystem works in any place, independently of pre-existing infrastructures.

This is an advantage for radio base stations, that are

unloaded from local chat and sms traffic.

Each device could work as a repeater, hence increasing thecovered area or for special functions.

3Csystem is uninterruptible, because network is self-

generated and each 3Csystem serves the network. 3Csystem could be the best successor of PTT service insecurity and rescue communications groups.

It can be used for different needs, i.e. chat socialisation,trade, information, security..

The 3Csystem Coverage(tested in 2,4GHz band)

3Csystem needs short coverage, due to his own nature.Application is well covered with a low power transceivers.

The limit of the range isnt a weakness but strength; our purpose isto create more voice networks each one in a specific area; i.e. ina neighbourhood.

With transmission power of30mW, we will cover distances up to

200m, in perturbed urban context (*).In rural area, coverage could be extended up to 800m, with the

same power.

Output power is available in the range 1-100mW, covering differentrequirements.

(*) This values are evaluated using the Okomura-Hata model.The useful range was calculated using classical link budget

formulas, considering a sensitivity on the receiver of -96 dBm.

The 3CsystemArchitectureAn example of stand alone 3Csystem is composed by the

following blocks:

Transceiver with antenna Microcontroller and memory Codec User interface (display, sound, keyboard)

When implemented in a cellular phone, 3Csystem becomesa function, realised mostly with the firmware.

Transceiver could share the same antenna (with suitabletraps and adapters) of telephone.

Transceiver transmits and receives independently fromthe telephone; sharing the same antenna reduces costs

and volume. Codec could be implemented as a DSP function User interface will be the same for both Telephone and

3Csystem Power drain is few, so the battery size is enough for both
