User Interface

User Interface that promotes simplicity and intelligence• Built-in abilities to save time - diagno-

stics without need of a multimeter• Easy to read full color display - change

in portrait or landscape orientations electronically

• Functionality to synchronize two systems for higher throughput or re-dundant mode to pair systems for zero downtime line requirements

PA/6000E Printer/ ApplicatorThe PA6000E system controls labels throughout travel with an industrial strength vacuum fan attached to the tamp pad, made possible by an alle-lectric servo driven actuator. This fully electric system allows manufacturers to save up to 50% on energy costs without compromising on performan-ce. The PA6000E’s smart technology detects irregularities in operation through the use of strategically inte-grated sensors that allow it to print on-demand, track printer and tamp

counts, detect cycle errors and broken liners, confirm that the tamp has re-turned to the home position, anticipate the precise location of the product and track the printer’s status.

All of this is graphically communicated to the operator through an easy to use graphic animated touchscreen while the system is in operation. The system can reliably print and apply labels to the side, top, bottom and corner-wrap of primary product, case and pallet substrate panels.

PA/4600EThe PA/4600E shares the same great all-electric capabilities of the PA/6000E, but with a focus on the mid-range need for speed and throughput rates. The PA/4600E utilizes the SATO Lt408 print engine, which is limited in print speed to 8 in/s (203mm/s), but shares SATO’s trademark reliability and common user interface structure. The PA/4600E is ideal for lower throughput case labeling operations and pallet lines, where appli-cation requirements match its lower print speeds.

LA4750EThe Platinum E-Series LA4750E system, available in wipe and tamp models, uti-lizes a wide array of application modu-les to provide maximum versatility in all types of production environments. The fully electric system, driven by a brus-hless DC servo motor, allows for more accurate and precise label applications without the need for pneumatic air. The wipe model features a heavyduty snorkel that dispenses labels at speeds

up to 300 FPM, while the E-Tamp versi-on offers maximum throughput of 120 PPM. The LA4750E can apply labels to the side, top, bottom and corner-wrap of primary product, case and pallet substrate panels.

LELA+The LELA+ all-electric system is ideal for manufacturers looking for a reliable and easy-to-use system that provides simple wipe on label applications wi-thout the need for pneumatic air hoo-kup. The system features a patented drive roller-free rewind-drive system, taking away the possibility of wearing out and webbing around drive or nip rollers. The LELA+ can accomodate speeds up to 120 FPM.

E-FASAThe E-FASA module integrates seamless-ly with the PA6000E systems to handle front and side apply and side and rear apply label applications. The E-FASA can also wrap longer labels around front and side surfaces.• Front panel, rear panel, or combination

of front-side or rear-side labeling• Pivoting knuckle tamp pad for higher

throughput rates than dual actuator modules offering fewer failure points and adjustments

• Single or dual panel label placement

E-TAMP The E-TAMP is the workhorse of the ALP-Series modules, capable of running throughputs in excess of 120 PPM. The E-TAMP integrates seamlessly with PA6000E systems and is capable of applying labels to side, top or bottom of products. It is also able to provide wraparound label solutions in conjun-ction with a secondary wipe down unit to achieve higher throughputs than conventional wrap systems.• Light weight design allows for the qui-

ckest snap-action return. This allows for optimal label transfer time, without adding damaging force to the product

• Largest range of label dimensions – from 1” to 6” wide and 0.5” to 14” long. Multiple sizes possible on the same pad with ZERO changes

• Long-life belt actuation – easy cleaning and maintenance – no metal particles due to wear as seen on other electric systems

• Cabling is high-flex PUR enclosed in energy chain for protection and cont-rolled bend radius. Ensures a minimum of 25M cycles before failure

WIPEDirectly merging the label to the product at the same speed is the heart of the wipe system. Wipe systems are ideal for applications where the product distance to the label is constant and the pro-duct surface is uniform and consistent. Many times, wipe systems are utilized in primary product labeling and case applications.• The system dispenses the label at a

speed that matches the product speed once the product triggers the labeling system.

• The brush ensures a smooth, wrink-le-free label transfer.

• By utilizing a stainless steel peel bla-de, the labels are separated from the liner carrier, ready for contact with the product.
