Creating Opportunities for the Region Through Videoconferencing:Videoconferencing enables participants to engage in learning and discussions with others around the province, leading to more collaboration and creating more partnerships. Opportunities for personal growth, lifelong learning, professional development, more e�cient business practices, problem solving and networking grow as access to simple video-conferencing becomes more widely available.

Two more Videoconference Sites:In partnership with iCCAN (Innovative Communities Connecting and Networking) and the Community Learning Council two new videoconference sites will be available this fall.

Wetaskiwin Public Library See the Library page in this publication for videoconference workshops on o�er at the Library this fall.

Alberta 4-H Centre at Battle Lake Get connected in the country. Workshops, meetings, professional development available via a SuperNet connection . A videoconference suite is scheduled for installation this fall, watch for more information.

ORGANIZATIONSThis session focuses on planning practices and strategies needed by organizations whose success requires them to adopt an enterprise orientation, with the possibility of generating an operating surplus, to ensure their ability to provide services to the community. We will examine real¬time planning elements including the businesses you are in; identifying the critical elements for success; what you want your enterprise to achieve; the strategies you will need to use to accomplish your goals; clearly identifying the investments needed to make the enterprise successful; and understanding your cost recovery requirements. Pre-school Hockey

Pre-school hockey is a program designed specifically for children ages 3 ½ to 5 ½ or their specific skill set. The program will introduce the basic hockey skills to help prepare them for their first year of hockey.

Emphasising that hockey should be fun!!
