Rose rugs, border, curtains and artwork
ooverwhelmed the space. The border and green
paint were replaced with a more modern color
and pattern. A smaller framed mirror was
added and the clutter was removed from the
counters. A candlescape between the sinks
gives the room a fresh beach feeling.

“I can’t believe this is the same room! It feels so much bigger.”
- Lynn
The dining room looked dark and small. The
lighting and mauve/teal bal-loon valance were
outdated. The carpets were removed to reveal
amazing hardwood floors. A more modern table
and hutch were added as well as a cornice
making the room feel bright and spacious.

This house had an amazing view of the ocean.
But, the furniture placement blocked the door
and covered the view. By rearranging the
fufurniture, the fireplace remained the focal
point and exposed the view. The accessories
were simplified into one decorative style. This
room was staged without spending any money.

“Working with a Home Stager really makes a difference”.- Jane
The purpose of this room left buyers confused.
The furniture suggested a living room but the
room opened onto the kitchen and another
living room. By moving couches out and a
dining set in, the result is a spacious dining
room with great natural light.

“I wouldn’t have thought of changing what the room is used for but now that I see it, I love it”
- Jason
Originally, this room felt drab and uninspiring.
By adding a fresh white coverlet and a few
decorative pillows, the bed is instantly more
attractive. Then, a bench and small table were
moved from other areas in the house. Some
inexpensive artwork and a decorative lamp
add the finishing touches.

“I love what she did with this room so much I’m going to keep it the same in my new house”
- Kate
Since the owners had already moved to their
new house, the living room was left vacant
except for a few miscellaneous items. Now,
this living room is bright and inviting. The iron
scrolls highlight the vaulted ceilings. It is
easier for potential buyers to imagine their
furniture in this space.

“I notice the high ceilings and how open the room feels.”
- Jamie
The kitchen was small but the dark wood
cabinets, drop ceiling and flo-rescent lighting
made it more cramped. By painting the cabinets
and adding new hardware the room looks much
brighter. Laminate tiles were added to the floor
and the drop ceil-ing was also removed.

after“I used to hate spending time in the kitchen. The new look makes cooking less of a chore.”
- Paul
Before Staging, this bathroom was bright yellow and
cluttered with too many blue fish pattern accessories,
making it extremely personal. By spending a small
amount on simple but neutral tile, matching paint and
inexpensive accessories, this bathroom becomes a
welcome addition to the house.
before
after“What a difference the changes to this bathroom made! And still way under budget.”
- J.P.
The cartoon characters, bright paint and
broken furniture did not entice buyers to make
an offer. By painting the room a neutral color,
repairing the dresser and decorating in a more
appealing style, this room becomes an asset to
the house.

“It was hard to say goodbye to the mural but seeing the results, it was worth it”- Tim
The teal and mauve color scheme matched the
heavy window treat-ments to create a not-so-
neutral living room. The carpet was removed to
reveal great hardwood floors. And the colors
were updated making the room seem bright,
airy and more modern

“Now, I find reasons to hang out in this room. People comment that the room seems bigger.”- Judy
With no clear design style, the master bedroom
felt sparce and uninviting. Adding window
treatments, a headboard and sitting area warm
the room. It becomes a beautifully designed
space perfect for a master retreat helping to
sell the house faster.

“I’m really happy with the way it turned out and get a lot of compliments.”
