Applicants must have passed two-years of Pre-University examinations/+2 conducted by the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka, any other equivalent examination conducted by Boards/Councils, or an Intermediate examination established by the State/Central Government, with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects.
The applicants must have passed in English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology, individually.
Applicants who have completed a Pre-University Course with Vocational Physiotherapy as the optional subject, are also eligible.

An Allied Health Science professional is a person who is trained and certified in assisting doctors in specialised areas, for better diagnosis and treatment. The rapid increase in the demand for specialised treatment has led NEA to establish the Nanjappa Institute of Allied Health Sciences.

Nanjappa Institute of Nursing Sciences (NINS) was established in 1994, with the core motive of transforming aspirants into compassionate and well-educated nursing personnel. NINS is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS). It is also recognised by the Karnataka State Nursing Council (KSNC) and Indian Nursing Council (INC), Government of India.
Our nursing programmes equip students with relevant knowledge and practical skills under the guidance and supervision of experienced faculty members.
