AOKs RVs, located in Lake of the

Ozarks, MO, was established in 1990

and was bought by Monty and Vicki

King in 2006. The Kings were not

looking to get into the RV business

but when they took their camper in

Winter 2016

Uptime is our primary goal. This

is achieved through redundancy

of equipment and processes.

Everything in our Network

Operation Center (NOC) is dupli-

cate to provide no single point of

failure; two firewalls, two Internet

connections, two separate A/C

units and even two different

telecommunication providers

using different technologies which

is all connected to our generator

to ensure no loss of power.

Enterprise level firewalls utilize

custom rules to analyze data to

block and prevent unauthorized

access to the network.

An Intrusion Detection System (cont. on page 3)

lakefront RV park, they embarked

on this new business venture.

AOK RVs originally sold used camp-

ers and was basically a consignment

lot. Now the dealership sells 12 new

travel trailers and 5th wheel lines and

picked up their first motorcoach line,

Coachmen, this year. AOK RVs sits

on four acres and will be adding a

new six-bay service center, more

office space and expanding their

retail store this year. There are 13

employees including Vicki and

Monty’s teenage son and daughter,

but every employee is like family to

them. Interestingly, their loyal,

hard-working sales people are not

commissioned but are nicely reward-

ed. Several employees have worked

Jessica Yaudes, one of our business managers,

is our 2015 Dealer’s Choice award winner

and Dawn Fields, business administrator,

and Tyler Johnson, end user support

specialist, are our 2015 Above & Beyond award

winners.

Thank you for your nominations.

Congratulations 2015 Dealer’s Choice and Above & Beyond

Winners!

about mechanical problems popping up

later or the possibility of theft. Your

follow up with your customers before

delivery and offer them the opportunity

to purchase these aftermarket products

that will enhance their recreational

lifestyle.

Great News on Protective Claim Payments

Improving Our

Services Through

F&I Training

During the fourth quarter

Priority One staff had the

chance to partake in many

F&I training sessions.

Aqua Finance senior

management trained our

business managers and

funding department on

their credit and funding

guidelines and together

identified solutions to

improve the credit

approval process and

speed up funding.

M&T Bank held two

training sessions on their

guidelines and what deals

best fit their program.

Protective Insurance

sent a senior VP to

introduce and train our

business managers on the

new aftermarket products

that we will be selling

soon (see side article in

this newsletter). The

content was very detailed

as to what the products

specifically cover

compared to the products

we’re currently selling.

Brunswick visited and

informed staff of the

factory warranty changes

to their Inboard and Stern

drive engines for 2016

and trained on what the

new Passport and Passport

Premiere ESC covers.

These visits are very

beneficial because we

learn more about the

companies and their

processes and products

which helps to improve

our personal relationships

with the buyers and senior

management. All of which

helps us do our jobs

better as your F&I

department.

You now have the ability to submit

Protective XtraRide and FPC claim

payment documentation via email at

[email protected] which

will help to make this process much

more efficient and quicker. This has

been requested by dealers for quite

some time now. The Claim Reporting

Guide instructions for both FPC and

Protective XtraRide are on the DRC

under the Supplies and Forms tab.

Of course, you may continue to use

mail and fax options for submitting

claim payment documentation, if

desired. If you have any questions,

please contact Lorraine Mariotti, VP of

Lending at [email protected] or at

800-747-6223 ext. 217. Thank you.

(IDS) monitors our network and

system activities for malicious

activities or policy violations and

produces reports and alerts of

such events.

Transport Layer Security (TLS) is

used for email encryption. TLS is

widely recognized as the financial

industry standard for securing

transmitted data.

Data backup is so important we

take snapshots of the network

every 30 minutes and full nightly

encrypted backups are stored

offsite.

All physical documents with

sensitive customer information

including social security numbers,

date of birth, address, income

taxes, etc. are shredded.

Physical access to Priority One’s

facility is tightly regulated with

time controlled access cards that

record each time they are used.

Our building has 24 hour video

surveillance and access to our

Network Operations Center (NOC)

is highly restricted with separate

security measures.

All users on our network are

required to have complex

passwords and are required to

change them routinely.

Standard Operating Procedures

(SOP’s) require all network users to

lock their system if they leave their

desk and as backup to the SOP, all

systems have a short timeout that

will lock the computer automatical-

ly, requiring user name and

password to regain access.

Before candidates are hired, a

comprehensive background check

is completed.

If you have any concerns about Priority

One’s safeguards, please contact Mark

Siler, VP of IT at [email protected] or

at 800-747-6223 ext. 209. Also,

should you be in St. Petersburg,

Florida, we would be more than happy

to give you a tour of our server room.

Interesting Tidbits:

What is your favorite

pet?

My cat, Roscoe P. Coltrane because he was really more a dog than anything. Roscoe

would follow me around the neighborhood on

walks and was really a provider in many ways. He was very generous to leave his daily catch

by my back door.

What is your favorite movie character?

Clark Griswold because “he is the last great

family man.”

What is your least favorite chore? Folding laundry.

Protecting Your Customers from the Inside Out (cont. from p. 1)

Why stop a good thing, right? We will continue with our 4th annual submit.

involved with the Missouri State Fair

which helps market their business as

well. In addition to displaying their

campers at the fair, they set up a

the compensation plan along with

their mantra of treating everybody as

they would want to be treated, works

well. This kind of V.I.P. treatment ex-

tends to their customers as well.

AOK earns lots of referrals and repeat

business from satisfied customers.

In addition to great customer service

and using a variety of traditional

marketing methods, including radio

spots and Internet marketing, AOK
