What kind of media institution might distribute your media products and why?

Our media product would be able to be distributed on film

sharing websites, like YouTube. It could also be shown on

small film festivals or take part in a video competition,

because it has a small budged.

However our film would not be seen in the cinema, on DVD

or at big film festivals. This is due to the film being too

short, because it’s just a film opening.

The quality of our film is also not good enough to be shown

in a cinema, because we had just basic equipment.

We also had a female actress playing a male character and

our locations weren’t ideal, we used location where we had

easily access to, like the school.

We used YouTube to publish our media production, because it’s easy to upload videos on YouTube and everybody has access to YouTube, so it was easy for us to share our film.

We could have used vimeo to share our media product. It works

like YouTube, but is more used by artists, who want to share their

short films.
