I do hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas break. After all there was so much to do and see in our part of the world, there was no excuse for being bored.

this time of year is a great time to pause and reflect on the past year and plan for the coming year. Being thankful for the past and looking forward to the future is a great way of de-cluttering the mind and giving a renewed energy to the body. this is certainly something I need to think about, my mind certainly gets cluttered.

LIZ DOYLE PILATESI am a Healthcare Professional who turned to Pilates to improve a recurrent back condition.

Pilates is proven to be benefi cial for various medical conditions. Two years later having regained a full range of back movement

being inspired by my teacher I decided that I wanted to become a Pilates Teacher. I found that my teacher had trained with

Body Control Pilates in London. After an intensive period of: instruction, supervised teaching and

examinations I qualifi ed in 2009. It was tough physically and mentally; but qualifying was a gratifying achievement. No time to rest on my laurels I trained regularly to achieve annual Continual

Professional D evelopment to remain Body Control registered. I live and teach classes in; Crafthole, Millbrook, St John and Polbathic. I was schooled in Torpoint, living in the area most
