Key Findings

Millennials are split about the significance of marriage in their lives. 53% stated that it was very important to them while 40% said they respected it but it didn’t define their relationship. Only 7% said that marriage was not important to them.

Millennials are very supportive of same-sex couples’ right to marriage even if they are split on the importance of marriage in their lives. 76% support same-sex marriage and 69% support interracial marriage. 93% of Millennials are also willing to date someone who has different religious beliefs than their own.

Millennials are meeting the people they date everywhere. Some of the most popular places for Millennials to meet are bars(48%), school(47%), groups or organizations for their hobbies(47%) and online(33%). However the most common place for Millennials to find a date is at work(54%).
