Riviere create custom handmade rugs of exceptional quality; our designs reflect a passion for understated elegance and timeless glamour.

Using only the finest grade Tibetan wool and pure Chinese silk, our collection is entirely hand crafted in our workshops in the Kathmandu valley

of Nepal and Jaipur of India.

All of our designs can be replicated in our Chinese Hand Tufted quality with New Zealand wool and art silk with an attractive lead time of 4-6

weeks.

Furthermore it's well worth noting in addition to our own designs a number of clients choose to commission ‘bespoke' pieces for special

projects, creating areas rugs, stair runners and inset pieces.

We work exclusively with interior designers and architects on a wide range of both traditional and contemporary projects, including

townhouses, city apartments, country homes, luxury hotels and super yachts. Clients may specify size, shape, silk content and colour.

In addition to our own designs, we also offer a fully bespoke service with over 2,000 colour tufts to choose from, colour matching and

CGI’s.

Lead time is approximately 12 to 18 weeks, depending on size and design.

Our rugs are unique - combining craftsmanship and creativity to produce pieces that are original, beautiful and will last for generations.

In an increasingly mass produced world, we are proud to be part of a highly skilled artisan tradition.
