Prayer Corner

Grateful Giving - Joyful Living

My dear Friends in Christ,

Alleluia!!! Happy Easter!! Jesus is risen! Because of what our Lord Jesus has done for us in His passion, death, and resurrection, all our joys and sufferings and everything we think, say, and do--when united to His Resurrected Life--now have ultimate significance and meaning. What love, what Mercy!

I want to also praise God for His great outpouring of Mercy on Joe Paquette, Tyler Miller, and Dylan Grentz and their families. May God bless them as they begin their new life as fully-initiated members of our Catholic Faith.

I also want to ask you all to pray for those who will be receiving their First Holy Communion next Sunday at the 10:00 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart. May God bless you all as you prepare to receive Jesus in Holy Commun-ion for the very first time!

Finally, in thanksgiving for the outpouring of the Mercy of God, next Sunday from 3-4 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus/ St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church in Assinins we will again be having our Divine Mercy Sunday celebration! Let's make it even better this year. Also, bring a dish for the potluck celebration afterward!!!

May God bless you with joy and peace throughout this Easter season.

Your Pastor

On Monday and Tuesday the accreditation site visit team will be in our school to review all of the work we have done for accredita-

For Your Information

You Are Important

Your presence here today matters. When we gather together for Mass, for the celebration of a sacrament, or for prayer, Jesus Christ is present, and each of us becomes united with Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Your pres-ence makes you part of this connection, which cannot be seen on the surface, it is a spiritual real-ity that strengthens our love for one another and reminds us that we are not alone. When you leave today, you will carry with you the love of Christ, which has the power to instill new meaning and purpose in your life and in the lives of others.

// A Beautiful Hope //
