Preparation:There is no preparation necessary; the resin figure comes ready to paint. Lightly sand any slightimperfections and wipe with a damp cloth. Apply at least 2 coats of each basecoat color unlessotherwise indicated for good coverage.

Red Stripes- Washy Primary Red making it the width of theflat brush.

Santa Details:

Hat- Shade along all the tops and bottoms of the middleand bottom sections of the hat Midnite Blue. The top sec-tion is shaded just along the bottom Midnite Blue. Shadeon the hat along the hair line all the way around the hat

Midnite Blue. Dry brush Hot Shots/Neons Fiery Red in thecenter of each section of the hat. You want to take this stepup to the shade so that it will soften it some.

Face and hands- Shade all the way around the face and

along the bottom of the nose a brush mix of Flesh Tone andShading Flesh. Then go over this Shading Flesh. Dry brushthe cheeks and the bottom of the nose a brush mix of FleshTone and Primary Red. Dry brush the center of the faceand the top of the nose Hi-Lite Flesh. The hands are shad-ed along each cuff and along the bottom of each hand and

thumb a brush mix of Flesh Tone and Shading Flesh. Alsosplit the thumbs from the rest of the hands with a brush

mix of Flesh Tone and Shading Flesh. Go over all this oncedry Shading Flesh. Drybrush the tops of each hand Hi-LiteFlesh.

Eyes- Dot the eyes Lamp Black. Then when this is dry goback and place a smaller Titanium White dot.

Lips- Line the lips with a brush mix of Flesh Tone and Pri-mary Red. Fill in the mouth Lamp Black.

Hair, moustache, and beard- Drybrush a brush mix of SlateGrey and Titanium White on the beard and the Moustache.Also on the little piece of hair that comes out from underthe hat. Once this is dry, go over this by adding more andmore Titanium White. Shade at the base of the hair that issticking out from under the hat a brush mix of Slate Greyand Midnite Blue. Under the nose on the moustache is

shaded a brush mix of Slate Grey and Midnite Blue. Shadealong the hair line of the beard on the right all the way

around to the left hand side a brush mixof Slate Grey and Midnite Blue. There isalso a shade of the brush mix of SlateGrey and Midnite Blue all along theoutside edge of the beard. There arealso some shades within the beard with

the brush mix of Slate Grey and MidniteBlue. Drybrush some straight Titanium

White over all of the hair, moustache,and beard.

Shirt- Line the candy canes BleachedSand. The red stripes are lined withPrimary Red. Shade Hauser Dark Green

where ever the shirt touches either thehat, arms, straps of the pants or thepants. The arms are shaded along eachside of each arm and on the main part

of the sleeve above the cuff HauserDark Green. Shade each shoulder Haus-er Dark Green. Drybrush all the openspaces that is between the candy canesOlive Green. There is also a dry brush

highlight of Olive Green on each cuff ofthe sleeves.

Pants- Shade along the beard on thepants Midnite Blue. The pants are shad-ed along where the straps touch the

pants Midnite Blue. Shade each of thestraps either where the hat or the beard

over laps them and also under each ofthe buttons Midnite Blue. The back ofthe pants are shaded under each handMidnite Blue. Shade the bottom of thepants all the way around and aboveeach shoe Midnite Blue. Drybrush all ofthe open area, along the center of eachstrap and on the top of each button HotShots/Neons Fiery Red.

Shoes- Drybrush the center of eachshoe a brush mix of Lamp Black andSlate Grey. Shade the top of each shoewhere the pants touch the shoes LampBlack. Stroke and dot the top of eachshoe Titanium White.

Mrs. Details:Hat- Shade along the top and bottom of

the center band all the way around Mid-nitet Blue. Drybrush the center of thewhite stripes Titanium White. Drybrushthe center of the red stripes with a dirtybrush and Hot Shots/Neons Fiery Red.Line a highlight just along the white

and green stripes at the top and bottomTitanium White. The rest of the stripes

are shaded along the top and the bot-tom except the top section; this one isshaded along the bottom of the sectionMidnite Blue. Drybrush the top and thebottom sections Hot Shots/Neons FieryRed. You want to take this step up to

the shade so that it will soften it some.

Face and hands- Shade along the edgeof the face and down across the chest

along the shirt and dress a brush mix ofFlesh Tone and Shading Flesh. Go overthis with Shading Flesh. The cheeks aredrybrushed with a brush mix of Shad-ing Flesh and Primary Red. Drybrush

the center of the face and a little on thechest Hi-Lite Flesh. The hands are shad-ed along the bottom of each hand andalong the sleeve a brush mix of FleshTone and Shading Flesh. Go over all ofthis once dry Shading Flesh. Drybrush

the top of each hand Hi-Lite Flesh.

Eyes- Dot the eyes Lamp Black. Thenwhen this is dry go back and place asmaller Titanium White dot.

Lips- Line a brush mix of Flesh Tone andPrimary Red. Fill inside the mouth withLamp Black and go over this PrimaryRed.

Shirt- Dot the shirt Primary Red. Shadethe V section in the front MidniteBlue. Highlight across the top TitaniumWhite. The ruffles on both sides areshaded the same way, along the frontand back starting at the top going allthe way down the bottom Midnite Blue.The arms are shaded across the top of

each arm and along the sides of eachone Midnite Blue. Her back is shaded on

The bottom trim of the dress is shaded a washyside load along the top and bottom of the trim Midnite Blue. Drybrush the white stripes TitaniumWhite. Drybrush the red stripes with a dirty brush and Hot Shots/Neons Fiery Red. Line a Titanium

White highlight line along top of the white and green stripes. Shade along the dress on the top ofthe trim a washy side load Midnite Blue. Drybrush all the open spaces Hot Shots/Neons Fiery Red.

Highlight the edge of the V section Hot Shots/Neons Fiery Red.

Shoes- Drybrush the top of each shoe a brush mix of Lamp Black and Slate Grey. Shade along thetop of each shoe Lamp Black. Stroke and dot the top of each shoe Titanium White.

Finishing:Finish with several light coats of DecoArt Acrylic Spray Sealer/Finisher Matte.
