Bb is actively working to develop a fully browser-based next generation Web Conferencing solution (codename "Apollo"). The primary goals of Apollo are:
• Eliminate Collaborate's Java dependency • High quality audio, video, and application sharing • Deliver a modern user experience, focused on education • Earlier, Blackboard announced the acquisition of Requestec, a
company that has developed award winning technology around the cutting-edge WebRTC media standard for high quality audio and video.

CBE Business Pilot• 18 completely online, openly licensed courses that
constitute a business transfer degree• Students work at their own pace, completing as many
credits as they choose in a six-month term• Students are supported by qualified faculty in each
course as well as a completion coach
