Un Mensaje de Nuestro Pastor

¡Felices Pascuas a todos! Sí, todavía es Pascua, vivimos siempre la nueva vida que Jesús ganó para nosotros por su resurrección. pero después de 4 semanas, las cosas pueden envejecer (entonces, ¿cómo nos va con casi 7 semanas de estar en casa, orar seguro?). Necesitamos ser renovados a menudo en esta vida, en nuestra fe de que "Dios ha hecho tanto al Señor como a Cristo, este Jesús a quien crucificaron". El milagro es que Dios constantemente nos da la gracia, nos fortalece para soportar con paciencia, cómo y con nuestro Señor, Jesús. Una gracia de este tiempo para mí es pasar más tiempo con mi perro. Es un buen perro, aunque tiene sus problemas, un perro callejero que apareció un día buscando que le dieran algo y que ahora está conmigo en la oficina. Menos tiempo que paso con ustedes, celebrando Misa y otros sacramentos o visitando personas es más tiempo que puedo dedicar a entrenarlo. Y todo : trabajar y jugar, ordenes, premios (¡y la atención es una recompensa!), es entrenamiento. La primera lección más básica que tuvo que aprender fue conocer mi voz, su sonido en comparación con otras voces, pero también saber qué tipo de cosas quiero que haga, cuándo quiero que las haga y cómo. Espero que, a través de este tiempo, podamos escuchar mejor al Señor y responderle. Las nuevas órdenes del gobernador nos dan más opciones sobre nuestra vida aquí en San Patricio, pero vamos a aumentar las actividades lenta y cuidadosamente. Quiero que vengan para que "tengan vida y la tengan más abundantemente", ¡no la pierdan en la locura! esa paciencia que mencionó San Pedro también se aplica aquí. Gracias por su ayuda en todo esto. Espero verlos a todos pronto. Rezo por todos ustedes siempre, y esperamos con esperanza, porque nuestra esperanza está en Dios. -P. Tom

A Message from our Pastor Happy Easter, y'all!

Yes, it's still Easter- we live always in the newness Jesus won for us by His resurrection. but after 4 weeks, things can get old (so how are we doing with almost 7 weeks of stay home, pray safe?). We need to be renewed often in this life, in our faith that "God has made both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.” The wonder is God constantly gives graces, He strengthens us to endure patiently, like and with our Lord, Jesus.

One grace of this time for me is to spend more time with my dog. he's a nice dog, although he has his issues, a stray who showed up one day looking for a handout and now often hangs out in the office with me. Less time spent with y'all, celebrating Mass and other sacraments or visiting people is more time I can spend training him. And everything- work and play, commands, rewards (and attention is a reward!), is training. The first, most basic lesson he had to learn was to know my voice, its sound compared to other voices, but also to know what kinds of things I want him to do, when I want him to do them, and how. I hope that, through this time, we can better hear the Lord and answer Him.

The governor's new orders give us more options about our life here at St Patrick but we're going to expand activities slowly and carefully. I want you to come "so that you "might have life and have it more abundantly,” not lose it in folly! That patience that St Peter mentioned applies here, too. thank you for your help in all of this.

I hope to see y'all soon. I pray for y'all always. and we wait in hope, because our hope is in God.
