Screenshots of our EditingWE USED ADOBE PREMIERE ELEMENTS TO EDIT OUR OPENING SEQUENCE.
In this screenshot we had just gotten rid of the background sound of his clip and added in a clip of birds chirping before fading in our music of “While I’m Alive” by STRFKR.
In this screenshot we were trying to add a split screen effect between the two clips. The first is of me (left) coming out of the door and the second is Daniella. We were then going to experiment with putting credits of our names in different parts of the frame.
In this screenshot we were cutting down a clip of Daniella walking and putting it in the right place to fit in with the other clips. We wanted to ensure that our film looked like it had continuous editing.
In this screenshot we were experimenting with adding a credit into the magazine that Daniella is holding. We decided not to use it as it was not clear enough to the audience as it is too small and faint.
This screenshot shows our studio logo. We originally wanted it to appear at the beginning as it is shown. However, we decided to try and make it look more creative but adding it into the sale tag.
This screenshot shows our first credit. We decided to use a darker pink as we agreed it was too difficult to see, especially as the clips have a fast pace.
In this screenshot we were speeding up the length of our clip as the slow pace did not fit with the other continuous fast clips.
This screenshot shows a clip from our ‘wild west’ section of our opening sequence. The top eyes are Daniella's and the bottom are mine. We then give dirty looks to each other to show the tension and competition for the bag.
