Sea Trials and Data Collection

Drumgrange provides expert support to sea trial activities on Warships,

Submarines, Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) and Underwater Vehicles for the Royal Navy, Royal Marines,

DE&S and Dstl. We support fleet equipment trials, calibration and ranging operations, data gathering and

scientific experimentation.

Specific expertise includes sonar and underwater acoustic data gathering and analysis.

Drumgrange has extensive experience of planning, managing and conducting maritime and land based equipment analysis to support new capability system testing, performance measurements, acceptance testing and user trials.

We support the development of documentation including Integrated Test Evaluation and Acceptance Plans (ITEAP), verification plans and acceptance test specifications for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Harbour Acceptance Tests (HAT), and Sea Acceptance Tests (SAT).
