2. FACT MATERIAL

Frozen         One day in the Kingdom of Arendelle, there lived two siblings named Elsa and Anna.

They were really close. They lived happily together with both of their parents. Until one day,

Elsa hurt Anna using her power. It was an accident. Elsa, who has the power to freeze

anything she touches. Their parents brought Anna to the trolls who healed her. To keep both

Elsa and Anna safe, they separated them for a long time. Since that time, the King locked the

gates, reduced the staff, limited his daughters contact with people and keep Elsa’s powers

hidden from everyone, including Anna.

Another fateful day, their parents died in a ship trip. There was no ruler at all, but the

country remained calm. Three years later, Elsa was crowned as the new queen. Anna was

very happy because she could flee outside. There, she met her crush, Prince Hans. Elsa did

not bless their marriage and she ran away to the North Mountain. She built a massive crystal

palace using her ice power. Anna met Christoff also. Christoff loved Anna but Anna did not

love him. The kingdom searched for her and captured her. Accidentally, Anna was hurt,

worse than the first one. The trolls said that only true love could help her. Anna thought that

Hans was her true love. It turned out that the prince only wanted the kingdom.

A snowman, Olaf snapped Anna out from her thought and made her understand that

actually Christoff loved her more. Elsa was going to be executed. Anna was half-way to

Chris. But she ran to her sister, her body was almost frozen. She was able to save her sister at

the right time. Elsa was really sad that now Anna is a frozen statue. Magic happens; Anna

was warmed up and brought back to life.

Arendelle kingdom wasn’t frozen anymore. Elsa and Anna lived happily with

Christoff, Olaf, and Arendelle citizens who love them.

Let it go is a soundtrack of Frozen.

The full lyrics of the song:

LET IT GO

(Demi Lovato)

Let it go, let it go

Can't hold it back anymore

Let it go, let it go

Turn my back and slam the door

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight,

Not a footprint to be seen.

A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the queen.

The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside.

Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried.

Don't let them in, don't let them see,

Be the good girl you always had to be.

Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know.

Well now they know.

Let it go, let it go

Can't hold it back anymore

Let it go, let it go

Turn my back and slam the door

And here I stand and here I'll stay

Let it go, let it go

The cold never bothered me anyway

It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small

Page 13

Page 14: Second lesson plan of teaching practice

And the fuse that once controlled me, can't get to me at all.

Up in here in the cold wind air, I finally can breathe.

I know I left a life behind, but I'm too relieved to grieve.

Let it go, let it go

Can't hold it back anymore

Let it go, let it go

Turn my back and slam the door

And here I stand, and here I'll stay

Let it go, let it go

The cold never bothered me anyway

(Standing, frozen, in the life I've chosen you will find me the past is well behind me, buried in the snow)

Let it go, let it go

Can't hold it back anymore

Let it go, let it go

Turn my back and slam the door

And here I stand, and here I'll stay

Let it go, let it go

The cold never bothered me anyway, woah
