Laying Out Secret Garden 1. On design wall, lay out a grid of 8" Vertical and Horizontal Lattice. Leave a space of
8" between each one for placement of Triangles. The 1H" Cornerstones will separate the Lattice.
2. Keep the 11H" Lattice for the sewing process. Stack by the sewing machine. They do not need to be included in the grid.
3. Begin in the center. Place first set of four Triangles in a Diamond shape.
4. Place Second Round of 12 Triangles, framing the First Round of Triangles,
5. Continue placing each Round out to the Corners.
Stacking First Vertical Row in Order 1. Take a 16" ruler or design board for
stacking Triangles.
2. Place two triangles, starting at bottom.
3. Continue stacking from bottom to top.
4. Place two stacks of Triangles with 11H" Block Lattice between the two.
5. Refer to Sewing Blocks in Cool Summer Porch.
6. Keep in order when assembly-line sewing and pressing.
7. Place pressed blocks in place on design wall.

Over the Rainbow Quilt
Rainbow Variation of Cool Summer Porch
To get the rainbow effect, refer to a color wheel
for placement of colors. Start in the upper left corner with any color, and blend from one diagonal row to the next diagonal row. Look for fabrics that have analogous colors for smooth transition.
This quilt layout can be made in any size. The Block’s diagonal Lattice all go in the same direction.
