PALLAVI MODEL SCHOOL

SEPTEMBERNEWSLETTER-2020

Nick Vujicic

He was born with rare disorder without arms and legs. His mother refused to even look at him while the nurse held the baby. On his birth, his dad nearly fainted and vomited so the nurse had to take him out of the room. Not only did he have troubles with everyday tasks, but he was also ridiculed and bullied by other students at school. The kids laughed at him and excluded from every game.

He was lonely, depressed and thought that he had no reason to live in the world. At 10, the continuous depression led him to commit suicide. He felt, that he had no value and that he would always be a burden to his parents.

One day his mother showed him a man in a newspaper, who was suffering from severe disability too. It made him realize, that he was not alone in the world with this conditions. He started to accept himself the way he was. He began using his toes to write, swim and play.

He travelled the world and inspired the life of millions with his motivational talks.

Prepare the children for life

When you plant a seed in fertile soil, it will grow into a healthy plant and reap the fruit. A student’s life is like preparing the soil. Nutrients that one has to add are good virtues, physical and mental fitness.

These can be inculcated since childhood is based on the inputs from different directions like parents, elders, teachers, friends, and different media. So ‘satsangathyam’ being in the company of and be associated with the right people is very important.

The children are like clay, they can be moulded in the right manner when they are given an opportunity to assimilate the qualities of self discipline, time management, managing finances, commitment to the work, persistence and accountability.

These life skills are very essential in the growth of the child. Academic qualifications prepare them for a job, but life skills prepare them for life. So let us impart these skills by using various means like storytelling, making them proficient in subjects, motivating them to cultivate a good hobby and providing a conducive atmosphere to give their best to whichever work they are doing. Last but not the least, if the child is physically fit, following these virtues becomes easy in turn, providing them an opportunity to become mentally also fit and strong.

HAPPY TEACHER’S DAY

Dearest Teacher,You are motivating, inspiring, and thePOWER-HOUSE of wisdom and the knowledge.

There is always so much to learn from you. You’re the best example one can look up to.HAPPY TEACHER’S DAYA true teacher is the one who helps us think for ourselves.

From the moment we step into our nursery classrooms, away from our parents, until the time we graduate, teachers guide us throughout, gently and firmly. When parents cannot be there, it is your children’s teacher who takes care of them, teaches them humanity and acts as a role model to look up to.

How can we forget about the greatest teachers our country had ever had? From Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan to Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam, India has always had inspirational educationists, lighting the path of students across the country.

Guru-Shishya Parampara is also an important part of our Indian culture. So this Teachers’ Day, it is important that you remember to appreciate the guiding forces and helpers--the ones who gave you the wings to fly!We had with us our dignitaries the school Chairman Sri M. Komaraiah and our respected Principal Ms. Tanuja who are the real inspiration to all our teachers of Pallavi Model school

An affectionate celebration of teacher’s day on the e- platform with various entertaining programs conducted by our beloved students, was a treat to the eyes and ears.

Thank you kids – you are some of the nicest students we could hope to work with and we are so proud to be your teachers! A big thank you.

Teachers play a very important role in shaping the future of the child. Activities for Teacher’s day celebrations are a way to celebrate the unparalleled contribution of the teachers in a child’s life.

Language Recitation Competition

Language no bar. The children of pre-primary proved that they are ready to take up any challenge and prove themselves. The recitation of Telugu and Hindi rhymes using different props shows that no matter whichever language it is they are ready to learn with enthusiasm. These competitions are held to provide them more and more opportunities to bring out the best lying hidden in them. The smiles on their faces speak volumes.
