Serving God’s Purpose(Acts 13:13-36)

vs. 22-23 22 After removing Saul, he made David their king. He testified concerning him: 'I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.' 23 "From this man's descendants God has brought to Israel the Savior Jesus, as he promised.vs. 24-25 24 Before the coming of Jesus, John preached repentance and baptism to all the people of Israel. 25 As John was completing his work, he said: 'Who do you think I am? I am not that one. No, but he is coming after me, whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.'

8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, 9 who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity

He saved us for His purpose not ours

The biggest block from hearing God’s specific plan for our lives

is when we are living for us instead of living for Him

We can honor God with being good stewards of the relationships that we have

John 17:4, Jesus prayed: “I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.”
